Just hope Northampton won't be out of pocket though.

Great news.
Gone for Coventry to win the league in my accumulator.
Hopefully they can make the Ricoh a fortress now.

I don't particularly give a monkeys stuff, but think CCFC are well out of order, they agreed the rent with the landlord, then decided it was to much so stopped paying it.... trying to hold the Landlord to ransom, they should have been kicked out of the league.

Coventry City have apologised to fans for their long-running dispute over rent at the Ricoh Arena which led to them playing games at Northampton Town. The League One club have agreed a two-year deal to resume playing in their home city, with the first match against Gillingham on Friday, 5 September. "I get the frustration and anger that's been shown by the fans," said Sky Blues development director Steve Waggott. "I apologise sincerely for everything I may have inflicted on them." The deal to return to the Ricoh Arena sees an end to a stand-off between stadium operators Arena Coventry Limited (ACL) and former Sky Blues owners Sisu, which dates back to April 2012. The club has been playing home games at Northampton Town's Sixfields ground since August 2013, with many fans deciding not to go and City attracting the lowest 'home' average attendance in League One last season. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28894278

Great news its been a shame Coventry aint been playing in there own City and been playing in Northampton. What has the Ricoh been used for since they parted company? I know it was used at start of last season for a legends game same day as Coventry City were playing a "home " game at Nortampton

Must admit i too could not give a funkeys muck where they play, or in what league. They brought most of this on themselves, moaned and groaned about the decision to boot them out, but will they learn from this. I doubt it very much.
