On a separate note, and to save starting a whole thread on the subject, how much were tickets for fridays's game at altrincham? Have scouted the shrews website but can't find them anywhere.

I would imagine tonights test will be toughest test yet as Kidderminster will play their strongest side and are no push overs.

Parking not really clear from that but from memory if you come off the island on the ring road for Severn Valley Railway you can park by the station and walk through the industrial estate, or you could?

Caton Clark Lawrence Wildig
Robinson
Collins
4-5-1 maybe? Robinson playing just behind JC?

Still not totally clear as to what our strongest starting 11 is from tonight's line up. Or formation for that matter
Had been thinking we'd possibly see the 11 planned to start v Wimbledon tonight but not sure now.
One good thing is if we don't know our starting line up and formation the opposition for our first few games won't have a clue!

Grandison seems to need a dozen games to get up to speed. He may not get that many. Team selection for the first game this year is very interesting.

HT 1-0.
Much to do. Jas Singh not tested much in the Kiddy goal.

By the sound of it so far there is no guarantee that this squad will bring success. Could be a good wake up call.

Shocking first half performance. Kidderminster look like the league 2 side.
Grandison schoolboy back pass to keeper for their goal. Has not looked at the races for whole half.
Defence looks poor. Ellis and Goldson will be looking to impress second half
On a positive Lawrence oozing class.
I trust mr McMelon will be firing up the hair dryer in the dressing room

Grandison proves that he does not have a football brain. One on one out on the touch line - the obvious and safest option was to concede the throw in and regroup. He tried to be clever and a kid half his size left him for dead to bear down on goal. The keeper did well to push the shot out but the striker was left with a tap I'm from 10 yards. Jermaine seems to have let his head drop since . I see him as fourth choice at centre back, and others standing by me seem to agree.

OK, got it at 2nd attempt.
Quite happy for us to be poor 1st half and trailing. Chance to see how they shape up under different circumstances than they've had so far.

The last time we were league champions, we didn't win Juan friendly, so this is looking very promising indeed.
