I've done a bit of a search around the club forums looking for those who have a positive feel and those who don't ! I've added that to last years performances, plus new signings etc and had a bet on the following
50p e/w Yankee, cost £11, wins about £12k
Championship - Wigan 9/1 League 1 - Doncaster 11/1 League 2 - Shrewsbury 11/1 Conference - Gateshead 9/1
I never see any value in The Premier League so tend to avoid it as a rule
Some of the teams I considered but was put off by :
Bristol Rovers - Conference - bookies favourites and my initial thoughts were that they would do a 'Wolves' and go straight back up as Champions. 5/1 looked a good price but their fans seemed really negative about their chances, with many thinking they'd finish mid-table, some even seemed to think they'd go down again. Gateshead on the other hand seemed more than positive about their chances.
Norwich - Championship - fans seemed very negative, some even saying the appointment of Joe Royle as football 'consultant' was 'bizarre'. Derby did well last season but there's been a lot of changes and not all for the better apparently. Fulham seemed more positive although many thought needed to adjust to the new division. Wigan seemed most positive.
Sheff Utd - League 1 - positive on the whole but certainly not gushing about their chances and I got that same feeling with Bristol City, Preston, Peterborough and Orient. Doncaster on the whole were a bit more positive with some pointing towards a decent second half of the season.

Had a decent end to last season and obviously with the extra signings they are expected to continue doing well, cant see Luton being where the bookies say, ran away with Conference, but from what I saw on BT sport last season they arent anything special and relied heavily on Gray, who of course has now moved on

I've gone for this treble:
League 2 - Shrewsbury League 1 - Sheffield United Champions League - Bayern Munich
330/1
Reasons why I chose these teams:
Salop- think we have have made some very strong signings and I believe this squad is stronger than the one that finished 2nd a few years ago.
Sheffield United - Clough did a good job with them last season , after the dreadful start they had under Weir. A pre-season under him and they will mean they will be in the mix.
Bayern- so many good teams in the Champions League but Bayern seem the most complete team to me. Now got Lewandowski up front and they have a team full of World Cup winners. Was tempted to go for Barca as they will have a front three of Messi,Suarez and Neymar but I feel their team is weak in other places.
Obviously hard to predict what happens, but these teams will get close so I've felt its a worthy bet.

Prem: Chelsea 2.88:- The strongest squad tends to win they have the best Midfield Fabregas,Hazard,Oscar,Matic with Schurrle(tip for player of Year) Costa and Lukaku up front.
Champ: Wigan 10.00: Talented squad with a good manager for the whole season and no Europa league distraction this year.
L1: Preston: 9.00 I thought they were one of the best sides we played last season and a Manager who knows better than most how to get out.
L2: Plymouth:19.00 Finished strongly and if they have improved financially their fan base could give them an edge
Total: £4916.25 for £1 bet.

Scotland: Prem: Celtic: 1.02 Put your house on it, you'll make more than putting the money in a bank.Or Dundee United for 2nd 4.50
Champ: Hib's :7.00 Haven't got the financial constraints that Hearts have. Could the too easy last 2 years mean Rangers will take a while to adjust too the higher standard.Has a 2nd Division ever been more interesting or have so many higher profile Club's than the top division?
L1: Morton :5.00 don't know much down here but there might be Full Time and will attract among the bigger crowds which can make the difference in squad quality.
L2: Clyde: 7.00 Barry Ferguson player manager should bring quality to what is little more than park level football.
To bulk the Bet up Champions league:13.00 PSG: seem to be getting closer each season without cracking the quarters but I reckon French Football is on the rise and along with Monaco are raising the quality of the ligue 1.
Difficult too judge untill the Champions league teams enter. Europa League: 21.00 Everton: will Roberto Martinez take it seriously if 4th place looks beyond them?
330,000.00. 75p will land close to £250,000

My bet i plan to do with 2 teams outright winners Rangers 1/2 and Man City 9/4. Then adding some teams just for promotion. Wigan 100/30, Peterborough 4/1, Town 5/2, Grimsby 6/1. For a £2 stake a return of £5175.62 May also do this in some multiples to cover my ass.

On paper their signings have been decent (big names), they've even been linked with David Dunn and the best England Winger ever David Bentley in recent weeks...

My colleague north of the border has been constantly telling me that Rangers are no sure thing for the title based on what he'd seen of them and with him having watched plenty of teams at Div 2 level last season as a Raith Rovers fan, so 1/2 does not seem value to me...........

Its the hardest Scot div 1 ever so i get your point. My thinking is Hibs and Hearts are weaker as a club than Rangers. They also have the winning mentality for 2 years.
