Good signing but not sure if it's necessarily needed!
Interesting to see where Grandison and Woods fit in as I can't see either of them starting now!

Not sure anyone can disagree with this signing, versatile, young, probably cheap, showed he can improve as he did during his first loan spell, and an all round good egg! Welcome back Cam!
Interesting that Woods is seen as a midfielder. I can see him playing fewer games but if that means he develops into a better player in the long run then so be it.

The defence has some serious competition for places now which is excellent. We've got 4 players who can play RB, 6 guys who can play Centre half and at least 3 who can occupy LB. Centre of midfield looks excellent too and if we sign Asante the strikers have plenty of depth and each player offers something a bit different. Just probably need 1 more wide player.

Looks great. Solid addition to a already looking solid squad.
It looks like Keepers the one position that you might worry about with the lack of experience there, but if one of them turns out to be decent we would be well on our way.

Agree another striker and true winger and I think we could have a promotion chasing squad. Shame I will see so few matches next season. What a difference a year makes a manager who knows what players he wants and goes and get them. BTW Gayle is a good signing.

Happy enough with this, cover in both full-back roles and in the middle as a last resort. Still don't think Woods is going to miss out too much on game time, he may well be utilised as a wide midfielder as well as centrally and as a RB. Depends where Lawrence is going to be played really.

Mentions Gayle and Grandison for right back. Interesting that Gayle refers to proper football and not longball.
Good signing and glad to have an actual RB in the squad.

Maybe Woods will be used on the right side of midfield, thus negating the need for an extra wide-man to come in to the squad? I suppose it depends on whether D-Mac stays once he is fit.

Particularly good since he's a player who can tackle and who also likes to move forward with a quick passing game - that's what we want to see!

I am very optimistic this season.
Now we need 1 striker and 1 winger then everything is done.
What if we Mellon has planned to play without any wingers, considering the strength we have in CM and lack of wingers signing?
Maybe a diamond or something? This midfield is full of quality in my opinion.
An attack of:
...........Wesolowski..........
Woods...................Wildig ............Lawrence...........
Collins...................Vernon

I'm pleased he's back with us. He looked a pretty tidy player during his first spell with us, Tranmere away stands out for me and we have another specialist full back on the books.
I think Ryan meanwhile could do well out wide, certainly when I've seen him in that position he's looked pretty lively.

That's a squad very much looking at 433 or some sort of diamond isn't it?
That's surely a very capable midfield for this level?

Certainly seems to between these two for RB. Mellon did say however he has been 'Blown away' by Jermaine so far. We looks very strong at the back (especially if one of our 'wildcard' keepers turns out to be decent) and also at CM and up top. At this level you cannot have everything but we sure look lacking in those all important attacking wide positions. Won't be at all surprised to see Aaron and Ryan employed out wide at some point on Saturday. Looking very good though.

I would be more than happy, if we finish 4th this season and go up via the playoffs and then finish 2nd in division 1 next season. Being more realistic I'll be happy if we put out a team consisting of predominately our players who play attractive football and I don't have to watch the dross that was served up in the majority of games over the last two seasons.
