Any idea on how many people have voted yet? Does anyone know if there is a minimum amount of votes re quired for the club to take any action or not? I got mine and the old man's votes in ages ago (both YES). Just hoping that most of the 5,000 who made it to the Emirates for a midweek match and the 20,000 for the play off finals will have supporter numbers and prepared to make their voices heard when it matters. I think the last update was that 700 have voted so far. So that leaves at least 600 people who signed the Bring Back The Loggerheads petition but haven't voted yet for a start, never mind mind those who aren't online. No minimum number - if the majority vote yes then the badge gets changed. Which is why it is vitally important people don't rely on everyone else to get their votes in, it takes less than a minute and might be the difference between the club getting it's identity back or being stuck that clip-art s**te indefinitely. No complacency!

The querstion needs asking again - when are the club e-mailing their fans database with details of the vote as promised ?
I see a situation arising where the club argue that insufficient fans have ben canvassed !! Not for the want of fans and SP I might add !!

A bit slow out of the trap, but just voted YES.

Right, the march towards 1000 online responses marches on as we are now well past 750 votes. Add to that the numerous votes I have see in the box at the club and we have certainly got a great sample size to be working from.

Why is there no "Not bothered either way" option, which reflects my views.

Why is there no "Not bothered either way" option, which reflects my views. Well if you haven't voted then clearly that's an indication that you're not too bothered about it either way...

Why is there no "Not bothered either way" option, which reflects my views. Because the vast majority of supporters care about their club's identity.

Why is there no "Not bothered either way" option, which reflects my views. Because it would be a complete waste of time collecting and counting votes which won't influence the outcome either way.

1000 votes is pretty good considering it's a fifth of the average home attendance. I suppose there must be quite a fair few who aren't bothered what badge we have, and that opionion is respected. However, it may have been a good idea to get a 'Not Bothered' option to vote for as you might have a better idea of how many people there are left yet to vote. But if people are not bothered about the badge then they probably wouldn't be bothered to vote 'not bothered' anyway.
Does anyone know how many supporter numbers there actually are, and how many of these have been active in the last couple of years?

Has anything been organised at the match tomorrow to encourage fans to vote? I believe members of the supporters parliament are going to be around various points of the stadium handing out voting slips and explaining the situation.

There will be some of us handing out voting slips.
I will be outside the front of the stadium and by the ticket office along with my son and one of his mates to help. Oli Warner will be in the West Stand and Colin Storey will be in the Power League bar.
If anyone fancies helping out you can get me on 07868 701719
Cheers Roger

Bit disappointed that when I picked up season tickets this morning that there was no voting slip in them.
Similarly I didn't hear any mention of the vote at the game (did get there just before kick off and might have missed it)
Particularly disappointing was there was no mention of the vote and badge consultation in the Chairmans message in the programme.
No criticism of the supporters campaign in this just very disappointed the club aren't promoting that a vote and consultation is happening. Would have been great to see Roland asking the fans to get voting. Would at least give the impression we have a voice in the club

Hi There were no voting slips given out today with season tickets. I went down to the ticket office at about 2.40 and did manage to give voting skips to those collecting ST's. I've made the club aware as it was agreed that voting slips would be given out.
We did manage to get probably another 60 votes returned today, we had guys outside the stadium, the Power League bar and inside the West Stand.
We are hoping to do a similar exercise Tuesday night, so can I ask if anyone would like to help drop either myself, Mike Davis or Glyn a Price a message.
Thanks to all those who have voted
Roger

Has anything been organised at the match tomorrow to encourage fans to vote? Has the club done anything to encourage people to vote? is it in the programme? no e-mails sent..... as long as there's majority wins so perhaps keep quiet and we could be over the line , with only 2 weeks to go

A bit disappointing but there can be no complaints from STFC when the vote closes on 31st August. Keep your nerve, comrades. Keep voting 'yes'.

running out of time and could do with 2k votes, or are people not interested, they should be given town's 7 years bad luck with clippy. remember we achieved promo in spite of that ruddy awful badge! we should not have to be voting, the loggerheads and floreat should have been mentioned in Roland's root and branch.
if the board and new CEO cannot understand the p**s poor sales at the club shop, they need a diploma in commercialism and or basket weaving.
how much longer have I to bang on about this from Deepest Devon. Roland, will you be told! change that ruddy awful badge and get them tills ringing in the shop and online.
Floreat Salopia! and 3 Loggerheads!

Heard a rumour that a member of the Supporters' Parliament received a torrent of abuse in the Powerleague bar, being told to "focus on the pitch" etc. Pretty sad if true.

All the people I know who voted, gave the thumbs down to the comedy lion. Matt Williams seems pretty clued up. He talks of increasing the revenue from off the field activity. Well there's an easy way to increase activity in the club shop. Have a guess what I'm talking about.

Reading some things on here that leave me very frustrated. I was told by Greg that if they ran out he would contact me.
At the end of the day what we have got has been totally through the work of the fans. We will have 1000+ votes , a great sample in my view.
What the club asked us for we will have achieved. That's that now it my view but if you ain't voted yet, still time.

Yes but we now have a change in senior management who may have different views......
It's 4 months since the new chief exec. started and very little communication with the fans although give him his due I'm sure he's been busy to the benefit of all but many decisions have been made without consultation with the fans which would have helped him get things right

1000 isn't a good sample IMO and I doubt that the board will even think about changing the badge with less than 25% of fans voting.
Don't forget, they do not want this. If they did, then it would have happened.
It needs a massive push IMO as the only voting slip I have seen so far was when Ade Plimmer approached me in The Darwin on Saturday (cheers Ade). Maybe if every turnstile was covered outside and then in the concourses at half-time then a 1000 more would have voted ?
Or maybe people are just happy with clippy and that's what a 1000 of us will have to accept ?
4000 votes = change, 1000 votes = an excuse not to change IMO. Hopefully I'm wrong but that's the way I see it.

How about 3 nice young ladies walking round the pitch along the home sides. Might get noticed at least with a billboard or signage.

There has been communication with the New CE. Hes fully aware of what the vote is, what we are achieving and where we are at with it. Hes also given us a target which i'm confident we can hit.
When the next SP meeting is announced (within two weeks) there should be an update on the behind the sceans goings on to keep this moving.

Otherwise known as if the supporters want to voice the vote to more people then they should be the first not at the bar on match day but by ever turnstile at Accrington and last possible chance Luton home games to give MAX impact for there own campaign as they work with the SP.

what is needed asap is a promise by the board and CEO of new kit next season with the return to the 3 loggerheads and a Floreat Salopia. we should not be p**sing about with voting. come on Roland and Matt, stop p**sing the fans about and JFDI !!. we have waited long enough with 7 years of bad luck. do not stand there like a ****ing couple of lumps, Just ****ing Do it! when I come up there in October I suggest the board ****ing hides, as ****ing AJ in ****ing Devon is totally ****ed Off.
got the message Roland and Matt! JFDI ! and a hearty Floreat Salopia! to one and all

No. It has always been the agreement that all we need is a majority of those that do vote. Besides, as far as I can see, the supporters are doing everything they can to get as many votes in as possible.

Not voting is not a vote against.
I'm still slightly miffed by the pedantic hoops the supporters are being made to jump through.
