Well done on getting this far and giving the supporters the right to vote on something massively important.
I have voted. Though not sure if being allowed to vote again is right?
I have emailed vote@stfcsupporters.com with suggestion of how to change it so you can only vote once. (I use this survey tool for work).

Hi IpswichShrew
What we will be doing is checking all votes to remove any duplicates.
Your advice would be appreciated however.

Cheers for that...
I set it up (with help from whits) To be honest, all votes will be cross referenced with the STFc database, which might cause extra delay but mean that all duplicate votes are removed if the details don't match the STFC database. It seemed the most justifiable way to do it. Also it means that people voting once online and then once on paper copy trying to be clever can be weeded out and the double vote removed.
The reason you can vote again is to cover family.
IF your a dad and you take your kid, and they also feel strongly about this and want to vote you can re-enter your Supporters numbers and address but put the name of the other person the account. If you blocked it to one computer/devise you could not do that.
Can you PM your advice though, would be interested to read it.

I agree that for families you need to keep it open for more than one vote, as the setting to keep it to one vote is based on the individual computer's IP address. Therefore would suggest you keep it as it is and remove duplications after the vote.

Haven't been on B&A for ages but come back and find this pinned so pretty chuffed.
One thing I would like to check - is the 50% threshold just out of those that actyually vote or 50% of those registered on the club database? Hopefully the former - I will be ASTONISHED if we get anywhere near 50% of people on the club database actually voting.
My supporter number is in the 16,000's (only registered 3 years ago as for years I was an exlile oop morth, and just bought tickets as and when I could up until then). But I would imagine that there must be 20,000 odd people registered by now. If we need to get 50%+ of those voting for a change then we'll have no chance of getting anything changed.
Can anyone clarify which approch will be adopted?

Just 50.00001% of all those who vote, not of the database...
A majority is a majority.

Well that's my vote done, thought I had better participate as joint chair of the SP
Lots of hard work gone into this to get us this far, too many to mention you all but I do want to say thanks to Glyn and Ollie for your help and support getting this up and running.
My co chair Mike has really led this and been the lynchpin between the ASAP and the club and we would not be where we are without his efforts.
Look out for details of the date for our next SP meeting
Great work
Roger

I have voted, but it's a secret ballot. I can't believe some of you letting slip the way you voted. Shows a lack of class in my opinion.

It can't be that secret if someone's going to be going through to make sure no-one's voted twice. I hope they're going to accidentally miss counting the No votes?

Let's not forget that the fans voted Malcolm Starkey (121 appearances as a player and a similar number of ticket fcuk up's as club secretary) as a club legend in a recent fans vote. I wonder if Roland counted the votes last time

Voted. I also buy for others under my Supporter Number - so it should be 4 yes votes. Shall be registering them next time near the ground to boost numbers.
Just re-read that and you now know how I voted!!

Just re-read that and you now know how I voted!! Yes or no that's what we need more people with supporters numbers and then responding to the survey by email, survey monkey, at the cub or on a match day. In just the online survey we are over 350 now.
