Adjourned for the seventh time? It's ridiculous. It is frustrating for supporters who want to start a new debt free club but is it right if there is a good possibility certain creditors could be paid in full? That is the interest of the courts, and HMRC who are now the main creditor would only get peanuts from taking the lightbulbs so to speak. I presune those running the club will have presented a case they can pay off the debts bit by bit.

The club has signed the owner's son to play for them according to Bulls News. According to HUFC's Chairman, they aim to recruit and develop talented young players and then make money by loaning them out to other clubs or selling them on. I'd have thought that the football scouts would have already picked up any talent before them.

Hereford were knocked out of the FA Cup today 3-2 by Ellistown & Ibstock Utd who play three leagues below them. They led 2-0 but then one of their players picked up the ball in their penalty area, thinking he would be awarded a free kick apparently. The ref had no option but to give a penalty for intentional handball. This turned the game around and after scoring from the penalty Ellistown & Ibstock soon scored twice to win the game. Right at the end, Hereford missed a penalty. So, no cup money for them. They'll have to make do with their share of the gate money from the crowd of 200.

Well another week of chaos at Edgar Road. Latest news, unsurprisingly, is that our receptionist has left the club having not been paid for over 2 months. To help her out, a whip round was held at the HUST AGM last night and she was given £250 to help her out. Also to have left is our club secretary who was also PR person and programme editor. She left after a meeting with Tommy the truck, the same Tommy who was told by the FA he could have nothing more to do with the club, even though he insists on sitting in the directors box, going on to the pitch and dugout during games, and holding post match conversations with the players, the last one being after our remarkable FA cup run came to a dramatic halt. The FA cup was a big part of the plan to pay off all our debts Boycott still holding firm, but the fans are getting a bit restless and it won't be long before a game is chosen for a big demo inside the ground. Just working out ways of getting into the ground without paying. That is why a demo hasn't occurred earlier. No one wants to give Tommy any money.

Latest joke to hit us regards our manager. Last Saturday was FA cup day, so no league fixtures were due. However, due to our great performance in getting knocked out, and so as not to miss out on a Saturday pay day, a fixture was arranged against some team. God knows who, but anyway, there was one problem. They forgot to tell our manager, who had given our trainee French internationals the weekend off!!! Whether they'd have won with them I don't know, but lose we did. And it's probably just as well the rest of the players haven't been paid for 2 months else they'd have probably gone off for the weekend too.
And now the really big news. Looks like we'll be on telly next Wednesday. Well sort of. Kidderminster are playing Welling live on BT sport. So as to make our protest a bit more national we're making it a good old invasion fixture. Kiddy have agreed, have given us the away end,so we're hoping to have hundreds of Hereford fans present for a good old shindig. Could be an interesting evening.

I agree entirely, but if anyone can help us find a way to get rid of these crooks ( Tommy, who has been banned by the FA from having anything to do with the club was at the match last night giving interviews) then please help us. Apart from the usual winning the lottery plan, we are well and truly stuck.

Plenty of STFC fans that don't want to see rivals fade away IMO. Wouldn't we rather see League 2 populated by Hereford, Wrexham, Chester rather than Plymouth, Southend and Hartlepool - if only for the 18 points? Anyway, a decent video released by the HUFC fans ahead of their protest at Kiddy tomorrow. Good luck to them.

Was a quite emotional night. Good to meet up again with a few friends. Made quite a noise throughout the game. Kiddy did quite well financially from the beer and food consumed too. Got to be the best grub ever at football grounds. Pies and pasties, home made cottage pies, curries, chips, sausage and mash. Really good. If we ever get back to Edgar Street their set up is one I'd love us to follow.

Why are HUFC fans only boycotting games now? The "big" attendances shown in the video above v Alfreton, Aldershot came when the staff weren't being paid under the previous chairmen weren't they? Why was the boycott not put in place 18 months earlier after this. m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/22001651

Alarm bells were well and truly ringing at that point, even earlier. Hence the trust formation. Unfortunately, we were all conned by Keyte's word that it would all be sorted, achievable budgets set, etc, etc. When asked would the club go under he came out with " Not on my watch" Calls were made for the whole board to go on the forum, but we were in a catch 22 situation as who would take over if he/they walked. We'd still owe the money and need a substantial investment just to keep going.
The boycott was put in place because of broken promises by the new owner, and his subsequent actions. It transpires that he, or whoever is funding him, are paying out little bits here and there just to keep the charade going until they can wangle a land swap deal with the council, even though both sides deny it. Any money they put in is increasing the debt, to their advantage, because when they get to the necessary % of creditors in money terms agreeing to a CVA, they will then be in a position to get it passed. They failed before but next time they won't. They will agree a deal with the small creditors, to whom about £200000 is owed, leaving their phoney company Alpha finance to agree themselves a good deal. We have to force them out by restricting their income and hope they realise the best option for them is to go now and cut their losses. We would have a chance of keeping the club going if they did that, but no way could we buy them out.

I'm currently watching the eventds unfolding down the A49 with an element of envy....looks like they are about to get a £1.5m investment from an as yet unnames benefactor!
In the meantime, we just struggle on, playing league football, unbeaten at home so far this season, having taken the scalps of two Championship and one Premier League side in the League Cup...about to host one of the leading lights in European, if not World football, at home....in front of a sell-out crowd....which is due to be screened live on Sky Sports, to a worldwide audience.
Still - £1.5m is not to be sniffed at.....when it materialises.....

POLICE were called to a restaurant following reports of "aggressive behaviour possibly involving Hereford United players". Officers were called to Pizza Hut off Newtown Road just before 3pm last Friday. It is believed the disagreement was over payment but police say the matter was resolved before they arrived. Hereford United manager Jon Taylor, who wasn't at the restaurant, said the issue occurred when one of the players left the building to return to the Edgar Street club to pick up money - left by Mr Taylor - to pay for the meal. He added that a member of staff at Pizza Hut had been "rude" to some of his players. "The bill was paid in full," said Mr Taylor. "The players would not go out somewhere and not pay." Pizza Hut confirmed "an incident" took place. "We can confirm that an incident occurred at our Hereford restaurant on Friday 17th October and we are currently assisting the local authorities with their investigations," said a spokesperson for the chain. "As this is ongoing we are unable to comment further." A West Mercia Police spokesperson said there will be no action taken. www.herefordtimes.com/news/11547151.Hereford_United_pizza_row/

Following the Court appearance this morning it appears the 'ownership' of Hereford United is in doubt, and the finances remain in chaos. At this mornings hearing a late entry into the fray was a Barrister representing a consortium headed up by a 'former majority shareholder'. There also appear to be grounds being laid for a battle to determine who actually owns the club. HMRC and a number of additional creditors demanded the immediate winding up of the club, and no money seems to have been paid to these petitioners since the clubs last appearance 42 days ago. In another twist it seems that one petitioner, Herefordshire Council, had taken preparatory steps to seize back Edgar Street today had the club gone into liquidation. The questions then are clear: (a) Who is behind the Consortium, and how much money do they have to hand?. (b) What would any challenge to the current incumbents ownership rely upon?. (c) What are the current owners doing to finally meet the debts in full, and indeed considering the amount of time that has passed, are they actually able to do so?. The situation then remains in absolute chaos this afternoon and the parties mentioned above have a responsibility to all those connected to the club to come forward immediately, and outline clearly where they all stand. You couldn't make it up!!!. www.hereford.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=547158
