Absolute b***h of a disease. I've never had the good fortune to meet Colin, but I've seen him many times down the Meddah, always with a smile on his face. Hoping his obvious positivity pulls him through. Keep fighting it, fella.

Really sorry to hear this. Whenever I've heard the guy on commentary his intelligence and passion for the club shine through. It's minor in comparison to what he is suffering but I hope he can get some consolation from the promotion push.

What a cruel, cruel disease. Having lost a close family member to it, and to have another currently with a terminal diagnosis I know that only too well. I suspect any number of us on here have similar horrible stories to tell.
I've never met Colin but huge respect for his attitude and approach in the terrible circumstance. In this awful context Colin my thoughts are with you and your loved ones. Here's hoping you get to see Town promoted and, perhaps, even the title but, let's be honest, football is pretty meaningless at times like these.
Love and respect

I know a close friend of Colin and I understand he was going to be in hospitality seats for today's game. Huge respect for the way he's dealt so positively with such appalling events.
All best wishes to Colin and his family.

More absolutely awful news. RIP Colin. Really enjoyed his commentaries, utterly genuine and town to the core. Sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

A very brave guy. What amazed me was his whole attitude to this devastating disease. A running commentary of the problems that he faced and the treatments that he was receiving. In addition to supporting the Town he was also a commentator on Radio Derby and he was celebrated by the Derby fans at last years play offs at Wembley because of his illness. I didnt know him but I applaud him for everything he has done to stand up to this awful disease.

So sad
A very brave and dignified fight throughout this awful illness.
I only hope my immediate family member, who has just been diagnosed with cancer, can take some heart and inspiration from Colin
It seems our great club's fan base has suffered some awfully tragic losses of late
R.I.P. Colin and all those other Shrews in the sky
