I cant see the price going up on April 8th. Why would anyone commit not knowing what league we are going to be in.People swallowed the spin from RW last season and bought season tickets on the basis of that promise that Championship Football was within reach. What hopes and aspirations has RW rolled out this time?

A few days aren't going to make people who have not renewed change there minds. If there serious about extending then set a date that's actually in the middle of the month . If the fans are the life blood of the club show them you care and stop pussy footing about with little words and tit bits .

Bloody hell this must have caught me on a bad day because I'm fed up of them treating us like country bumpkins , sales on a par with last season , deadline extended to 7th of April to allow our loyal fans the chance to take up the fantastic offer. Ooh arrr thank you mm lord most generous of you .... Like I said bad day

Is it a typo? 17th April methinks surely? They say upto kick off of game against Stevenage so dates wrong or the game ? ..just sums up the shambles that is stfc this season . They don't proof read the programme so no chance of them doing the same on the web site .....

I feel really sorry for the ticket office staff on Saturday who will now have to cope with an avalanche??? of STH's trying to renew before kick-off, at the same time as sorting out the £5 Stevenage tickets.
Will be like Grand National Day in a betting shop!
Please form an orderly queue, and remember that "although a new season is nearly upon us", it is in fact 18 weeks to the kick-off of 2014/15!

So they have extended early bird for effectively THREE days?
Words fail me.
And since WHEN is 7th April 'the middle of April'? I suggest the Club take note of the Misrepresentation Act 1967.

By the way. Can someone please put up the price of season tickets here and the increase in price if you don't buy them before the Early Bird period finishes?
Despite scouring both The Official Website and the Bradford City programme I can find no information whatsoever on this subject.
And despite being a season ticket holder ever since the new ground opened I've had no details whatsoever posted to me.

If ticket sales are on a par with last year, why extend the deadline date. And, if it is recognised that some fans do not get paid until the end of the month, why extend to the middle of the month, or am i seeing things differently. IF the fans are going to be rewarded i should think the deadline should be extended, at least to the end of April. Just my opinion.

That nonsense about helping fans who get paid at the end of the month is what it is. Nonsense.
Makes as much sense as declaring April 7th to be the middle of the month. It's pitiful and once again shows contempt for the fans.

You call it nonsense, i will call it complete bollox. I also doubt that the take -up on EB tickets are anything like last seasons, and i doubt the end total of ST's sold for next season will be anywhere near this seasons. Would be delighted to be proved wrong but , well, time will tell and the published ST ticket sales figures. Ho hum.

It's just a marketing ploy to try and get a few more to sign up, nothing more, and another case of damned if they do, damned if they don't.

And the only pros under contract are winfield, tam, taylor and woods i think! Id like to know if were going to have a squad to call our own before i commit.

True fans might Can we have a full and proper definition what a "true fan" actually is? A true fan is one that says he's not going to renew every year then end up renewing anyway....... perhaps I feel a bit peeved because I renewed last Friday knowing that the deadline was the 3rd, not having the luxury of knowing which league we'll be in but doing it to enjoy the early bird discount... now others have got the luxury of waiting (although it's not clear how long) to see we're we end up before committing.... I wonder if the club will give refunds to those that have renewed in line with their original deadline but then change their minds due to the results up to the new deadline (whatever that is)?

Yes I have renewed my season ticket and can't believe anyone who has bought one would ask for a refund if we are relegated. .. A true fan hope we stay up but maybe realistic we might not... Coyb

And despite being a season ticket holder ever since the new ground opened I've had no details whatsoever posted to me. Category B adult ST rises from the current early-bird price of £285 until 7 April to £330 up to 3 May second cut-off,then £400 after 3 May. Cat A £345, 380 and £475 respectively.

Surely a true fan would just want as many season tickets to be sold as possible which to a simple man like me this extension would seem to facilitate?
As for the comms around it however........

I know to the club it will seem like we are moaning for the sake of it but there really is so much wrong with that article:
- 7th April is now 'mid April' - They are extending it by two days on face value - One of those days is a Sunday when the ticket is closed - In addition to being extended to the 7th April, the article also states "Season tickets can be purchased right up to the start of the game against Stevenage at the ticket office this Saturday" which reads as that is the point you can buy them till, contradicting the extension' to the 7th - Even if it is a typo and should be the 17th, they have said "many people not being paid until the end of the month", well how is extending it to the 17th going to help?

They are saying that you can buy next years season ticket on Saturday up until the kickoff, so meaning if you are heading to the club on Saturday then it is convenient to make that purchase too.
Badly worded sentence on ShrewsWeb. You can continue buying until mid April or April 7th which is where the true confusion lies.
