just shows what a good judge of character GT was in the end. Morgan should remember who gave him a chance when he was all done and dusted at Aldershot.

The modern footballer has no respect.
I saw two current players out in the Buttermarket on Saturday night - clearly don't give a toss. At least GT did.

I saw both tweets and the difference in responses say much about the men involved. Rather surprised to see some of the names MMs was sent to.

Whilst I agree that modern footballers are not the best role models in many cases, why on earth should players not go out on the saturday night? No training on sunday, and I can't imagine they were laughing uproariously at the fate of the club. When I have a bad day at work a night on the p**s is a good option - why shouldn't they?

Hardly ideal for their fitness! Morgan used to go out every week, too, and post pictures on Facebook of him smoking Shisha. If he achieves 10% of what Turner has in football he'll do well.

Somewhere there's a cow's arse perfectly untouched by Marvin's banjo.

Morgan hasn't achieved a smidgen in his career that GT has. The saying, "If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all", obviously hasn't occurred to him. Morgan has gone right down in my book.

I remember this guy for 2 things - scoring 2 at Vale Park and 1 at Coventry
Let's be honest when a striker doesn't score yet can't take any type of criticism, he's bound to be a bit of a big headed knob.
Marvin who? One Graham Turner

After a 3-0 thumping at home? not really the most wise thing to do in my opinion. But each to their own.

Very poor show by Marv but then I don't expect much else from him. I respect his work ethic on the football field tremendously and thought he always did a job for us under difficult circumstances but looking back I'm glad a toxic player like him is nowhere near the dressing room anymore. Lets hope Goldson doesn't see him as some kind of role model, maybe that's why he's been out on loan recently...

No need for it! Marvin is clearly a bell end who thinks his 3 goals in 35 games meant he shouldn't have been released........I see he is prolific as ever at Plymouth too!

Why you lot bother reading what some two bob d''k head has to say about anything is beyond me, never mind a legend of the game. A sad day for the club, but it had to happen. Its a shame he didn't go up stairs last season. Glad he resigned rather than being sacked. What do we do now then....?

Spoke to Marvin for a fanzine article that never came off and heard a lot of what he had to say.
I can understand why he perhaps wasn't GT's number one fan, or any of the staff for that matter.
However, to tweet that is disgusting. Marvin Morgan will never have a career as illustrious as Graham Turner and quite frankly doesn't deserve it anyway.
Lost a lot of respect for Marvin after that.

Marv's future is in selling poor quality T's and Bobble hats at ridiculous prices... (Perhaps he should design our kit) though I imagine his FEK selling point will be out of date sooner rather than later and he will abusing the Plymouth backroom Staff on twitter as he laces his boots up in the non-league. Classless t*at

Footballers are entitled to go out on a saturday night, however poorly they performed in the afternoon I am sure a young GT would still have gone out after the team lost - it provs nothing

What did Marvs tweet say? not letting me see it... He's deleted it. Was a pic on Leo di caprio with a glass of champagne. Tagged players previous and of old in it. Nothing bad really just disrespectful. He is backtracking quite a bit now.

Sure he will get a 'warm' reception should he ever grace GM again, but the way his career is going I think we would have to slip several divisions before we will come up against him again.
Just one of many current players who think they are far better than they are
