I'm predicting there will be a lot of it this week regarding the loss, player recruitment, ongoing badge, kit and ticketing issues...
to MAke B and A a little less cluttered this week can we use this as a central thread for it all....
Commence annoyances

People will miss it as a sticky thread (my first moan)
Feels like Groundhog Day at the moment, at the end of each game I'm thinking the same thing, learning nothing new. We just need more players, especially in an attacking sense.

The last 2 summers Turner and Wycherly have succeeded in only making our squad worse. And the thought of having a worse squad than last season is seriously worrying. What on earth is going on down there?

Wouldn't it be nice if we had some straight forward honesty from the club?
Do you remember last season, around about October time when Roland issued a statement acknowledging supporters concerns about our league position and what the club was going to do in response?
How about something similar again?

It would feel like the same BS though Richard.
Lets face facts, there's something amiss down at GM

The most frustrating part for me is how long we tried so hard to get to this level... the pain we went through of playoffs etc... just to be in this situation with not enough senior players to fill a match day squad
How badly do we want this? Its hardly the premier league down to the Champo with parachute payments is it!

Is a strange old situation we find ourselves in.
Felt that last season was a learning curve for everyone and being slightly taken by surprise about the league could be accepted, and was broadly put right by the end of the season and our finishing position was perfectly acceptable for the first season back there for a long time
Releasing experienced players in the summer suggested room was being made for new blood and hopefully an improvement in quality but its just not happened and its hard to know why?
I know we're not made of money but are in a better position than a lot of clubs; and you'd hope top sides would see Turner as a safe pair of hands to loan young players to for a season.
We're not even really signing good quality from the league were in as Peters did with Davies and Drummond when we were seemingly worse off than we are now.
I don't think I'm being a moaning fan by thinking things should be a bit better than they are? Or is there more to out current situation than meets the eye with our finances and club development

Lets face facts, there's something amiss down at GM But when Roland made his chairman's statement it immediately galvanised the club into action as a number of loan players then joined us, post haste, Helan, Proctor etc... It would be nice to think that we see similar actions this coming week, rather than just more rhetoric

In yesterday's Star GT said this seasons squad is stronger. That's one of the first things I've read in GTs spell here and thought I strongly disagree, very worrying

This year's present squad is comfortably the worst. If GT really thinks it's stronger then I'm afraid it's time to move upstairs. If he doesn't, then it's just a P.R. exercise to paper over something that we've yet to be told, presumably about the finances.

I don't think I'm being a moaning fan by thinking things should be a bit better than they are? Or is there more to out current situation than meets the eye with our finances and club development Very good post I think the worry for me is that we released a lot of players, presumably some on higher wages and then they haven't been replaced largely. We're now playing a lot of players who were out of the team or match day squad for long periods last season - case in point Bradshaw is now leading the line, yet last season Morgan, Gornell, Winnall, Proctor, Porter, Eaves, Asante were all preferred. Wildig is now in the centre of midfield, but last season Summerfield, McAllister, Richards, McGinn, were all preferred. Parry spent the last 3 months of the season being on the bench etc. The thing is there's been comments by RW and GT that we need to bring in players, and that money is available, but why are we not bringing in players? Yes I get that we have a smaller budget than some teams in this league, but surely we've room in the budget for players having released Wright, Morgan and Richards? At present it seems we're not spending even what we did last season. The other comments that RW and GT that are a bit of a worry is them saying about aiming for the playoffs etc, yet clearly we're no where near that both in terms of quality and numbers. If they didn't say things like that publically it would kind of make things seem better - they've raised the expectations and then not delivered The thing is if one of the two senior figures said that our budget was limited rather than we had money to spend, then I'd be far more forgiving of a lack of investment in the team, and I think a lot of people would also accept that and get on with supporting the lads.

Could it be our wage structure / Cap is set at the wrong level? IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.....
Yes it may be the safe option but if it's out of sync with other teams in our position (we have to believe we are a league 1 club with a hope of the odd succesful season competing for a play-off position otherwise what's the point of the last 20 years?) we can't compete.....
Surely there's an emercency meeting talking place right now hopefully with our new scouts bringing RW & GT up to date with what's required to attract the right quality of player
