Well, tough one this week! I think I can guess this weeks winner, I called it on twitter after 5 minutes of the game on Sunday! Vote away though as it will all count towards the end of the season POTY award!

Surely the time has come for a rethink on man of the match, if posters are prepared to vote for Wright and Bradshaw after their 20 minutes on the pitch.
A couple of suggestions:
Make people state their man of the match.
A group of the good and the wise select a short list of say 5 from the match.

Its been going for THREE seasons now, and I can only think of one MOM vote that was ruined in that entire time over 100 games probs! Not idea, but the days of Chris Bright getting 5 votes are long gone. Nothing to say the same results don't happen in the votes in the players bar with people mucking about! I remember a load of the ASFC voting for random players to be Man of the Match when we sponsored a game as a laugh, and who can forget the day in Torquay when everyone voted for John Gayle as Torquay's player of the season Having had Terry Dunfield, Ian Sharps and Matt Richards as the B and A Player of the seasons so far kinda proves that the right winner comes out in the end.

The contenders are Grandison, Hector, Taylor and Weale. Hector was solid, Walsall couldn't deal with Grando's runs and Taylors pace. Weale kept us in it first half with 3 or 4 quality saves.

Weale had a brilliant game so he was my man of match.

Weale was obviously MOTM so I voted for Wright to cheer him up a bit. In a confident mood he will return to his awesome self... at Portsmouth I hope.

Mark Wright. Do you believe that he came off thinking, "I had a brilliant fifteen minutes there, and had more of a bearing on the result than Chris Weale, Michaea Hector, Paul Parry,Lee Collins or any of the others" ?

fair enough if sometimes fans see something others don't but grow up before i start doing some digging Twas me ! And I care not you bully. I actually have voted for Wrighty a few times of late.. For what its worth a few years ago I organized a campaign that got Nathan Elder voted MOM at Morecambe after he had a mare - Elder had more votes but the result was changed by Pricey to another person..... I was devastated by this and have voted randomly ever since.. Its only a bit of fun to me - I see Nick Griffin is in trouble today for encouraging the harassment of Pab and one of his mates...try and bully me matey and I'm off to the press...
