He was stood and told to sit down by a police officer. He refused and pushed the officer. Repeated this and was dragged out. . The first line is wrong. The second line is completely wrong And the third line is a complete lie. Well done Fingers YAWN! & you witnessed the incident sat where?

Aha this appears to be a classic case scenario. I was not there i should add I assume this was a high ranking officer and the incident was early on during the game. Antagonise/confront /provoke supporters for a reaction Make an arrest get back to Monkmoor for a cup of tea and feet up. easy day

It wasn't a club decision so if he was to be banned I believe the police has to produce one.

I had a ginger haired lad by me, must have been about 8 yrs of age who all game long just gestured to the Walsall fans they were wan*Kers. His dad sitting next to him didn't seem to care. If a son of mine did that they wld be grounded for a month I'd buy him a playstation as a reward. And a few games for it as compensation for having given him the ginger gene.

Whilst at the game I heard several versions of the event, all indicating he hadn't done a lot wrong. However has to be said the people know the bloke so are bound to be biased
One lad also claimed he wanted the polices number to make a complaint, he was told to f**k off or he'd be nicked. The lad said another fan said he couldn't speak to him like that which a woman copper laughed and replied that he could do what he wanted
Having seen some of the arrogance of certain police officers that wouldn't surprise me

I don't care if he did anything wrong or not yesterday (seems unlikely though) he's done enough to be banned before and I await a statement on STFC about ejections from the stadium yesterday and the repercussions.

That's a fair comment pricey, and one that others will no doubt share. Yesterday was wrong and the 'eye witness ' accounts of some are also wrong.

They were arrested on suspicion of public order, drug and football offences, while one supporter was arrested for allegedly chanting racist abuse at a player in the ground. Link------>

I wasn't at the game but if the individual is who I'm pretty certain it is then Jamo's seat was probably have been within 10 feet of where this occurred. I'd trust his version more than yours.....

Give your version of the events then Jamo instead of posting drivel. Given my close proximity with an unobstructed view perhaps I or others have missed something? Really don't know how you can defend the undefendable.

Interesting revelations in the star... some people will be putting 2 and 2 together... "One arrest was made for being in breach of a banning order and for racist chanting in the stadium.” Already banned then? Sounds like another non-thread as it doesn't really matter what the guy did. The question is how did he get in?

The Police tweeted that they had arrested someone for breach of a banning order before the game kicked off, so guess that one can be ruled out as being related to this incident.

So far on this thread.
The bloke has been ejected for:
Pushing a Police Officer
Hitting a Police Officer
Shouting racist abuse
Breaching a banning order.
Drivel.

Absolutely unbelievable that he's still not got a ban. It's not as if he's a discreet character either. What on earth merits a banning order? There's a youtube video of him stood by the corner flag swinging punches against oxford.
As for the police at football, I cannot stand them since our group of 6's treatment at accrington last season. We were followed through crewe station by police and told they'd stop us boarding our train if we made too much noise. We got asked where we were going and made to produce both match and train tickets numerous times. They're arrogant and love their small degree of power. When anything actually goes off inside the ground they do nothing.

I didn't hear any racist language.
I'd also wager people could be talking about separate incidents.
Jamo why don't you take up the invitation afforded to you for now the third time and give your version of the events.

If I may comment slightly O/T for a second, but of relevance...
Those who believe they have a legitimate case of unfair treatment from 'the police', please pick up the phone and register that complaint with the respective Force (not just yesterday, but at anytime in the future).
If you're prepared to pop onto an internet chat forum and pillory 'the police', then you should have enough courage to make your accusations official and to allow the accused a fair chance at justifying their actions.
Jamo, if you've seen something you're not happy with, or which supports or undermines the conduct of the individual involved in this incident, please report this to West Mercia. It does no one any good to let things lie in this unhappy stalemate.

i saw him being dealt with yesterday but no idea what went on
led to believe the 'oxford' incident was him taking the law into his own hands and trying to punch a fan who went on the pitch
don't agree with it but then again cloughie got away with the same
what i will say is i had to sit by him at hereford last season or the one before
several times he shouted at town fans in the side terrace, calling them a bunch of c--ts for not singing
i think one way or another, fans like that are inevitably going to get banned

YAWN! & you witnessed the incident sat where? Sorry to interject, but not really sure how you can 'yawn' at another poster on this messageboard. This coming from perhaps one of the biggest simpletons on B&A, constantly spamming the board with links to BBC News and starting hysterical threads about racism. Your 13-year-old style avatar also leaves a lot to be desired.

Hopefully all the people who 'witnessed' the event from such close quarters will be doing the same in full support of the Police Sergeant involved. Should clear the matter up nicely,.

I would believe the police who I dont believe would just walk up to an inocent fan and throw him out for no reason......... Why if asked to sit down did he decide to climb over the seats and confront the police?....... who the hell does he tink he is?
