is there any substance in this rumour that he is to make a move to us?
seen a number of posts on that football rumours site which obviously isn't the most reliable but some people are quite adamant he is coming to salop.
would he move?

Trouble is he's under contract at Southend and given his performances will command a decent fee (six figure easily)...can't see it happening some how.

yeah, he is a good player and would no doubt shine in league 1. but i think GT will seek an alternative who won't require a fee

Would love us to sign him but it looks very unlikely. Wouldn't want us breaking any record to sign him, personally.

gt says in the star he will go down the loan route if necessary. surely he will have enough in the wallet to buy one 6 figure player. shrews earned 87k in tv rights alone in the fa cup and 250k raised from the sale of our youth gk to everton. that will appear in next years figures. it cannot all have gone on wages and stadium upkeep.

We could always ask Southend to let us have Hall on a season long loan.

Signing a known trouble maker doesn't fit with Graham Turner's usual signings Didn't hesitate in signing Lionel Ainsworth who allegedly had a bit of a history.
