Liverpool are a shambles at the moment Currently they have No Manager. No Director of Football. No CEO. No Communications Director. No Head Scout No Head of the Meadical Team They do have 4 England Players (and Henderson as a 5th when Parker clearly breaks down with his injury!)

Gird yourself for an outpouring of grief, self flagellation and mabe a new shrine on which the Victimpool faithful can adorn with flowers and replicas of Daglish's jockstrap on the anniversary of his being booted out the door. All together now, "you'll never walk alone". Too true Kenneth, half the friggin staff have been booted out with you.

It interesting
The next appointment will show where Liverpool are as a cub going forward Someone like Rodgers, Lambert or Martinez and its mid table, little money being spend and long slog back to the top of English football with the talent they have now motivated better by a up and coming manager
If FSG pull something off and get ABV, Rafa, Cappello, Pepe G or another top flight/class manager then it could herald another round of crazy transfers in and out, and another push on the top four….
Thing is with foreign owners, no one really knows what they are thinking, trying to do…
Intresting summer for Liverpool fans. I predict a lot of over the top emotional reactions to what ever is annoucned!

Where's the moneyball in all this at Liverpool?
First it was appointing Comolli to buy young cheap players who were undervalued but over time grow and develop. So then they appointed Dalglish to groom them. He turns round their season. All going to plan.
Then they buy more young players at top whack based on some warped logic (Torres + Babel < Suarez + Carroll so must be a bargain at 60m). Then they sack Comolli. But Dalglish team is inconsisent (you expect that with young undeveloped players surely?). So then they sack Dalglish.
The good news is the plan is not going to plan.

Couldn't happen to a nicer fellow - just hope the clique that helped in stabbing Roy Hodgson in the back move on with him now, good riddance to him, the Premier League is a better place without the sour faced old t**t!

What an ill informed joke of a post! I quote "at no point did Dalglish ask for the Liverpool job. We approached him to steady the ship". And that's what he did, staved off relegation fears and got the club to 6th. Some people... So gullible to the tabloid headlines

Also, I take it you fully supported Ratcliffe when he was here? And Simpson too? I'm sure you applauded our 2-0 home defeat to Darlington?! Thought not

So gullible to the tabloid headlines I certainly do not buy every quote that comes out of any club and I don't believe that one, I spoke to Gary Peters once in a conversation about a certain player and I can tell you now that his personal off the record opinion differed a whole lot to the opinion he would give in pre and post match interviews, it's called managing a situation and/or person and telling the great British public what you want them to hear. I will be absolutely amazed if Dalglish and Thompson had nothing to do with the departure of Hodgson, I don't like Dalglish and never have as a manager and wouldn't trust him as far as I can spit - all about opinions

Agree. Would rather not see Martinez go there either considering the way they are going through managers. You have to give managers more time. Just can't understand the reasoning behind getting rid of both Hodgson and Dalglish after such a short amount of time. They have been given no time at all. A lot like Chelsea and I wouldn't want to see someone like Martinez at Chelsea either. Don't want to see another club eat up and spit out another young decent manager just cos he isn't able to turn things around in the one season...
I wonder if the Villa are set to miss out because of this...
I reckon it might be Martinez or the chap at Swansea. Mad to see O'Neil at such a long price considering all the talk in the past of him moving to a 'bigger' club. Thought he would be higher up the list, his stock must have come down a fair bit. Moyes would be a great appointment but I guess that'll never happen...
