I smell an element of trouble at this game, got it written all over it with a few old scores to settle from the 80's. Newport are known to be one of the most active of hooligan elements in non league and will be no doubt out in force for our famous you know who. Should be interesting the kick off time and date. One thinks it could be sunday 12 noon.

Gawd, was hoping for a home draw, given the proliferation of away game we have coming up.
Or, at the very least, a tasty local tie against Vale or Walsall (sorry can't get excited about Telford).

And the posh parts of Newport are on a par with posh parts of Cheshire......... A good draw for me against a team who's' fans have remained loyal to their club for 10's of years in the football wilderness and a club that could have easily done better in the welsh league but remained in the English Pyramid and are now only one step from league status so good luck to them except against us in the FA cup but should be a better experience than many non league draws

Really p**sed off with this. Firstly, I was fingers crossed for a home tie seeing as we've only got two between now and New Year. Secondly, Newport is a s**thole and the people are stuck at least 15 years behind the rest of civilisation. Expect them all to be into Oasis and sporting Liam Gallagher haircuts. There's bound to be a few billboards advertising 'Whats the story morning glory', the women will all be drinking Lemon Hooch and there will be plenty of 'casuals' around looking to kick off.

If we were drawn against Nantwich or similar lower league club we'd be overjoyed and take flippin' hundreds there. You get a nice easy, non stop, cheap (about £21 if you're in a group of 3 or more) train trip for a game against a club at the bottom of the table one league below the one your club is sitting at the top of!! Cripes! What do you want? The Moon on a stick? Stop being a bunch of arse and get down here with your lovely Inguhlish money for our gate receipts

Youre right there bizzy the game could well be chosen for live coverage on s4c as they have shown live fa cup games involving cardiff and swansea in recent years. I'm a big fan of 'sgorio' on s4c which is a top class football highlights show, even if I don't understand a friggin word they're saying

Clearly I'm in the minority, but I'm actually pretty chuffed with this.
It's a new ground, it's fairly local to Salop so we'll take loads and there'll be a good atmosphere, it won't be a stroll but we still we probably ought to win, and I like Newport as a club for the way they've fought so hard against oblivion.
I'd much, much rather a tie of this sort than the vast majority of League 1 or 2 clubs, home or away.

we'll take loads and there'll be a good atmosphere. A temporary stand with no roof? I doubt it.

So glad not bothering with this if going to be a load of trouble.

we'll take loads and there'll be a good atmosphere. A temporary stand with no roof? I doubt it. We'll take around 500-750, and thus fill the majority of the stand. I suspect there'll be quite a bit of "banter" flying our way from the large, covered home terrace next to us which, although not everyone's cup of tea, will lead to a better atmosphere than many of the increasingly morgue-like ones encountered on many of our League 2 travels at the moment.

I think you mean this! www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/6940572/Football-highlights-show-attracts-zero-viewers.htmlOnly watch it for the Welsh Premier highlights myself, dont really see the point of watching La Liga highlights with Welsh commentary but their coverage of the WPL is first class, which is heaven for a non-league buff like me they also put on highlights of Wrexham and Newport home games.
