The one thing that has surprised me is the lack of talk about the Wimbledon 'goal'. I must admit that I thought it was a case of Neal misjudging it and then his momentum taking him over the line, Im sure the linesman signaled for a goal. Has anyone seen it again? Was he pushed? Maybe we're all keeping schtumm in case this turns out to be the Wigglesworth Moment that sees us get promoted by one point?

A few people at the time suggested it might be a Wigglesworth moment which benefits us It may well be a case that the player fouled him but at the time I thought it was just momentum that him over the line

I don't know whether it's an official rule or just the way it works, but the general way is don't award the goal unless you're certain it crossed the line. I don't know how over the line this one was, but it's kind of the reverse of the Wycombe one.

The Lino flaggedvfor a push on Neal, hence the free kick afterwards.....

dire first half nothing at either end, better second half, shocking miss by wright, i think 1-0 would have been a fair result
at least a clean sheet is a positive for us, dons came for a point and got one frustrating day

glazed decorative porcelain? It was some salmon-based affair, if I recall. Probably why you insisted on having a jug of salt-water on the table, in case it was still alive...

We don't have a plan B against 5 in midfield. Yesterday we barely had a plan A. That said it is a clean sheet and a point. Think that sums up my feelings on yesterday's game, also. Wimbledon obviously came to do a job on us, and from their perspective it'll be a case of 'mission accomplished'. That said, they had some useful forewards and on another day might even have completed a text book smash and grab. From what transpired over the rest of the afternoon, you have to say that if the early effort that rattled the woodwork had gone in, there may well have been no way back for us. Wright managed to cut in a couple of times in the first half and tried a couple of speculative efforts but was, for the most part, well contained by their defence. Awful miss around the hour mark, no excuses for not at least getting the effort on target. Lionel was in and out, but unable to produce the moment of magic required to unlock the Dons defence. Perhaps someone should have got on to that cross he flashed across goal with the outside of his right boot in the second half. Thought Wroe was below-par (carrying an injury?), but thought Richards did quite well. Has a bit of ambition with his passing and desperately unlucky not to find the back of the net with his free kick. Maybe in this kind of scenario we could play a 3-4-1-2, with Jacobsen and Grandision giving us the width, and maybe Ainsworth operating in a free role behind the strikers? Agree with other comments that while Sharps looked more like his old self and the defence as a whole was decent, we may have to wait for a team who have some real attacking intent before we can pass judgement. Frustrating afternoon, disappointed that, as Turner said, we weren't 'bright' enough to break the opposition down. Held to a draw by a side on a losing run last week, and shut out by a team shipping goals this week. There's another 30 games to go, but we need to be more ruthless if we're going to claim a top three spot. Oh, and the officials were awful, particularly in the second half. The 'penalty that never was' was an utter debacle, and the ref seemed to want to be the centre of attention.
