It's obviously frustrating, and is definitely now a poor start with a few issues to address, but talking about league positions and writing off players and the season after three games is a tad ridiculous..

Take heart from this: Hereford 0-3 Macclesfield. 4-0 now Atleast that's something that I can raise a smile about.

Ok so we've lost this game. Lets not panic. In the season when we won the league we lost our first 3 games.
In Turner we trust, although Crewe is becoming an increasingly hard fixture now they are struggling too. It's winnable but they are almost as desperate as us at this stage of the season.

Oxford much the better side and deserved the win - simple really better players, better tactics and more effort from the players

Two draws and a defeat isnt a great start to the season, but we now have two home games to put that right, we cant afford to lose to an equally out of form Crewe thats for sure, the pressures on already

Absolute crap. Embarassing start, to be 7 points off the top two after 3 games is just shocking. Didn't even put up a fight. Another bad day in the life of a Town fan.

Rubbish. Skimped on summer signings and failed to address the glaring central midfield issue.

Woeful. No fight, no spark, players playing as if they met on the coach here, thoroughly disenchanted. Sharps, Regan, Richards, Wright, Collins all woeful, no imagination in Turner's subs. Only Wroe, and half arsed attempts from Richards and Gornell, bothered to clap the fans at the end.
Maybe in time this will be viewed as simply a bad performance but right now I am p**sed off, and the players, manager, and club as a whole can **** off. Disgusted.

A couple of wins and we're right back in the mix.
Some of the calls on Radio Shrops mirror some of the hysteria found on here. Highly amusing.
Do wonder if GT will get his black book out and make a few calls in the morning....

Anyone paying too much credence to a league table before 10 games have gone, don't really know what they're talking about.
10 games and onwards, if you're not in the top half, then is the time to worry about your chances of automatic promotion

we shouldnt need any loan signings yet the players we have got in should be good enough, to suggest we need loan signings already is suggesting what we have in is not good enough?

To moan about being 'so far' off top spot already, embarrasing Its a good job this messageboard wasnt about in 1993, Fred Davies would have been burnt at the stake

Losing is one thing but it is a concern to see some of the words bounded about to decribe the performance from those who were at the game. That's what I expect to be hearing some was down the line as the season is in full swing, not three games in. You do wonder whether the pre season was right. What did we have? We sent our kids up to TNS and had Manchester and Wolves kids down at our place. Tranmere and Kiddie were the only two games that stood out where you thought that's whats needed...
Just thought the preseason was a bit light this time around. I wonder if we are seeing the effects of that now...

At least many on B&A are being consistent - any defeat and it is as though we have just lost our FL place again. Some on here just need to get a grip FFS

I guess when the agreements were made for the Man U and Wolves friendlies we would have expected stronger sides to be fielded. Turner was certainly not happy with the squad that Wolves brought.

Maybe I am a bit knee jerk but I really was not impressed, worst performance I've seen since Darlington home, even worse than the play-offs.
Three home games now, and if we churn out that quality of performance in front of our home fans the atmosphere amongst the fanbase will be poisonous.
For me, forget Swansea, 4 points, but just as importantly, performances to give the supporters some encouragement

It's going to be a bleak season. Is this based on your one and only viewing of the team, against Kidderminster in a friendly?
