In addition to accepting an offer for Craig Mackail-Smith, with a decision to be made upon the player's return form holiday, Peterborough have also made Kelvin Langmead, Scott Griffiths, Exodus Geohaghon, Dominic Green, Arron Davies, James Wesolowski, Lee Frecklington, Chris Whelpdale and Charlie Lee available for transfer.
A possible return to the Mighty Blues?

I hope not. Both Sharps and SCS are better defenders.
Charlie Lee is a good full back though and Exodus played well on loan.

Didnt u see my thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Calm down mate. Your threads were started 2 mins apart so every chance he didn't see yourself. Plus you've started a Jake Robinson thread when one was already in full flow and included the new item you raised.....so pot kettle black...

I wouyld have him back, honest pro, playing at a higher level that a LOT of clubs will be after this season in League 1 and 2...
If we could get him all good.
Lets be totally honest, we failed in the playoffs because of a massive lack of cover at center back... three first choice center backs, all leaders, and all decent would be massive for us next season...

Found out, possibley, but they hardley dispensed with him last season he played 40 games, and scored three... so hardely a bench player
Also all of the playerrs have contracts still at Posh, and there trying to sell them rather than release them.

Langmead and Frecklington would be a very strong couple of players added to the squad.

Would have gone to Posh on significantly higher wages I'd imagine. I'd be very surprised if he returned to league two unless it was with one of the sides with the bigger budgets.

But Ant, haven't you heard we have a huge budget, at least that's what other managers were saying about us this past season

I would have virtually any of those players.
Would have Langmead back theoretically, but he would cost too much to be a back up.

No thanks,he is not a footballer unlike the 2 central defeners we have now.He can not pass a ball over 10 yards and its that what let him down.
So as a defender yes and as a footballer a big no. we can get better players in.

Charlie Lee can play at right back (which we need) or in the centre of midfield. Could be willing to drop to league 2 as he had a loan spell with Gillingham last season.
I'd be happy for us to sign Lee, Frecklington, Weselowski, Welpdale or either one of Langmead or Geohaghen. Possibly Geohaghen more as he'll probably want less wages and was impressive under his short spell here and we need a long throw expert.

I'd definitely have Geohaghon back. At least as a steward for the Port Fail game.

What's happened to Hibbert?
Last I heard he was wanted by Wycombe.

What's happened to Hibbert? Last I heard he was wanted by Wycombe. Have to prove he's fully recovered before anyone would take the risk, I'd have thought. Langmead would surely be too expensive now for a squad player and I think our priority is cover for Sharps/SCS, not replacing either of them. Be happy with several of the other released players but they may be too pricey and not want to drop to L2.

More chance of us bringing Exodus back here I think, that would make next season's games with Port 'we like to celebrate promotion in September' Vale even more spicy!!!
I dont think Langmead would want to return to League 2 so soon after he has left it.

After being at Posh their wages would be a bit higher than we would want to pay probably.
