My my some people are on a short fuse tonight . We can turn it round at the home game with the help of the crowed so please don't lets all start a slagging match with each other. Turner and the players know what they have to do. Agree with you 100% we have nothing to lose now so lets have a go and try to win the game.

You really are a pointless prick arnt you heavenly. Instead of throwing insults why not make an informed and educated argument. Tell me how I'm wrong. That's right, because you can't, you are far too dim to do something as challenging as that. ****in ape. Look we are all p**sed off and the first thing you type is out of order, yes have a rant at the team but you went a bit to far dont you think? You can **** off you ignorant prat. Why should you be allowed to express your opinion but I can't. I have to hide my feelings apparently and just tow the positive line. Well I tell you what, I have supported Town long enough to be able to express an opinion of my own. By all means you tip your cap and delude yourself all you want. That was a s**t display by a team that barely looks capable of avoiding relegation never mind winning the play offs. If the same team turns up on Friday we will again be a laughing stock. If you arnt capable of putting up some kind of rational argument to counter this rather than your frankly embarrassing impersonation of corporal jones then sod off. My opinion is as valid as yours.

We really need to go for it Friday, League 2 will be a tougher league to get out of next season so we don't want to be in it.
There is no reason why we can't at least get the tie level in 90 minutes, and bring on extra time with home advantage.

League Two again next season! - that's how it seems, but we are only half way here, I just hope we knowing we have to win, catch torquay unsure of how to approach the game. Nobody seems to agree with this view, judging by all comments leading up to this post, but I thought for 20 minutes we did turn up, passed it ok and got into some decent positions. Then came the unsettling Sharps injury and bang we're one down. However, Harrold Collins and Davis (complete lack of composure summed up his night) all had sights of goal and chances seemed evenly spread. Goal two killed us, the loss of Sharps leadership and the timing of it left the lads deflated. Second half was just awful, yet football is strange and we somehow didn't concede in that 45 minutes. Second half gives us no hope performance wise but leaves us in the tie. I think we can do it, mentality of sides will be a big factor. If Davis had hit the target as a footballer should things may have been different. It's all a plan to make Friday more exciting.

And if we don't do it, it's still been a success this year. A big improvement!

And if we don't do it, it's still been a success this year. A big improvement! I like the positive attitude but angry after a crap performance or not the aim has always been promotion this year, GT has said that from day one therefore if we fail to reach the Theatre of dreams I can't call it a successful year as targets won't have been met. But we can still win

Tonight's performance demonstrates exactly why we are in the playoffs rather than being promoted automatically. We are totally inconsistent. Tonight we lacked bottle I cannot think of a single 50 50 tackle we won and our passing was not existent. Looking at the team you could be forgiven for thinking they'd never played together before. Midfield was non existent and why Collins was taken off instead of Harrold I'll never know.did ainsworth actually touch the ball when he came on. Oh for Kevin McIntyre to be on the pitch to add a bit of bite to the side.
Yes we can still make it to old Trafford but only if changes are made and we have 11 battling performances.

what a shocking performance. another occassion when our utterly inconsistant team failed to turn up. couldnt pass , couldnt control, couldnt create, couldnt fight. totally out fought and out thought by torquay. one shot on target says it all. spirit of 79? dont make me laugh. "Calm down dear!"

Nice to see someone can make Jake Robinson a good consistant player,
I never realised the benefits of HD television but today Canavan, Grandison and Wroe were truely awful,
When I was 12 I used to get my head taken off for putting the ball out of play half as much as Canavan does,
And you all thought that, that liability and league champion Dean Holden had no sense

On the plus side step forward one man that bottles the big occasion more than the Town - andy murray has plucked another defeat from the jaws of victory tonight
