Canavan is terrible. All he does is kick it into touch.

Watched live until Doctor Who started, then fast forwarded to catch up*. Didn't look like I missed much, what is going on?
* Have long maintained I have other priorities.

been a generally rubbish performance really not helped by the loss of Sharps which really seemed to knock us off our stride.
Be nice to get one back but two goals down if it stays this was is certainly achievable in the second leg.
Harrold been pants - absolutely nothing up front tonight - not even huff and puff and certainly absolutely no quality!!

Very poor. Steve Cross on radio Shropshire has just given the Town performance 7/10. He's not been watching the same game as me. I'll give them 4/10. The problems up front are galling. I don't care whether Robinson plays against us. I do care that we haven't replaced him with anything better.

So disapointing - nothing has gone right - Missed Sharps.
First goal at G Meadow will be huge.
A bad game, but there's still a little hope.

As bad as that was - it's only 2-0.
Dreadful - but that first goal at GM is HUGE.

Utter s**te. Totally gutless and i feel for the fans who made the trip to Torquay to watch that pathetic display.

Well, at least we didn't lose 5-0 this time, and we are just about still in it. Absolutely dire stuff though - town very, very poor and a poor match to watch generally.

Need an early goal on Friday, probably without Sharps.
What's with the Torquay fans running on the pitch, though?!

If we had a fit Sharps and Raven next Friday I would fancy us turning this around but whoever is out there we have to give it a go and attack them from the outset and early goal from us would make them nervous.......but if I was a betting man if we dont have Sharps and Raven GT will be turning his mind to team buidling for next season by a week today!

From the first goal on, that was a shocking performance. We looked a bottom two side.
However, in light of that, it was a half decent result.
I don't expect us to progress now, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did.

Felt Turner made the right decision in starting with Harrold, but the wrong decision not to start with Bradshaw, otherwise was happy with the starting XI.
Feared the worst when Sharps went off, and the first goal wasn't long coming - the injury to Sadler just before another kick in the nuts from Lady Luck, though.
Wroe and Davis just didn't get hold of the game at all, and Wright was poor again. His decent showing against Oxford aside, he's been below for months.
Never looked like pulling one back and I'm relieved to be going into Friday's game with the tie not totally dead in the water.
Depressing stuff.

If Torquay come to GM and play like they did tonight we havn't any chance of getting back into it.
We basically wanted time to play the ball around, to Torquays credit they didn't let us get time for the whole 90 mins they were in first to stop us taking control.
Cant really blame Harrold for much - the ball rarely got up front to give him any chance to show. And the defence looked crap the minute Sharps went off.
Reasonably happy it was only 2-0 after such an abject performance
