Anyone solved the Lennon mystery yet ? He spent 30 mins warming up, THEN got his match kit on, listened to the teamtalk, got as far as the tunnel before telling Redknapp he'd "run out of energy" and couldn't play. The Jowelly one was livid that his plans went to pot in the tunnel - more to come on this I reckon

All I'm saying is 2 years on since "Lasagnagate" you'd have thought their medical officer would have packed some Diocalm

People on here were getting worried about your state of health ( esp. Pilch) since Saturday. Would you please pass on my good wishes to all at the Boleyn Ground for their kind contribution to my continuing large betting fund, which has grown considerably due to their efforts, or lack off, recently. E.G. £10 @ 8/1 on a Manc win, bet in play = a very happy BB. Seems like the Spurs' dream is over, while the Wet Spam nightmare continues. Never mind, always next season.

Lenon named in the starting eleven tonight You'd have thought a second hand car salesman like redknapp, knowing he had a dodgy starter wouldn't do that

Dive from Bale, not very clever. The other two were 50/50.

Tactical genius Redknapp, 0 - 4 down so you play 1 up front

Great shame its Barca v Real in the semis and not the final. I think most folk would like to have seen that as the final, would have everything... One plus I guess is at least we have the two games to enjoy in the semifinals...

How did West Ham get on in their CL quarter-final, Reg? Hammers still in with a shout at the top four this season?

We do not pretend to be a top four club like some teams do Anyway nice to see Mr Levy is so upset about the whole thing he's in high court again this morning sticking his not insubstantial nose into Newham Council's business

Shoddy BBC journalism for most of it there. Most of that is crap I'll just throw two into the hat for starters. If the mayor receives a meal as part of a project working party it needs to be declared as a "gift" under Local Authority accounting regulations. News of the World reporting by the Beeb here........ It is usual for confidential council papers to be handed out at council meetings - the BBC chose to report this as "witheld" which suggests this hack reporter normally covers marine life or something similar and their local government reporter was on leave. The Spurs bid was much murkier I can assure you, trawl back a few weeks and you'll find it on a previous thread. Time to give it up now Suger owd lad, this appeal will cost the british taxpayers millions - thanks for that The most that it can achieve is a rap on the knuckles for the Council, the decision can not be reversed. If Levy wants to waste millions of tax payers money when all he can possibly achieve if he wins is to sit back and laugh that Council has got a bollocking well what a sad individual he is. But we knew that anyway, hey ho........................ He could instead of used those millions on a Goalkeeper

Not all bad news for Spurs, yes - Gomes was horrific - Van Der Vart was invisable - Modric was Modrate - Pavlachenko was hopeless but, I thought Heather Small had a tidy game at left back

So where is the pretending? 5th now, but just three points off the team who spent about 150 million quid last summer. I'll be the first to admit that Tottenham are not top three class, but 4th or 5th is about right imho. As for the olympic stadium thing - the whole affair is stupid and embarrasing. The idea of Spurs moving to east London was nonsense and the plan to essentially demolish the whole stadium plain daft. Levy should just let it go and stop wasting time and money.

Namely City & 'pool! The 'pool fans at my work are already rabbitting on about winning the league next year with King Kenny in charge!
