Late equaliser for Stevenage, but also one for Southend just about balances out the teams below us in the play off spots
Such a close table - 3-4 wins and we could get automatic promotion, poor run of 2-3 games without a win and we won't make the play-offs

All about the run in now. We want Oxford to have missed the play offs by the time we play them. Draws for Accy, Stevenage and Wycombe keeps it all very close.

If we are to get auto i think we can only afford to drop points in one more game now. A tough ask.

You're right (apart from Ballabriggs ) - but wasn't today a day to show some grit? That's what worries me about this team, players too often seem to go missing when it matters.

The way Bury are playing with Ajose now back with them I think that's another automatic place gone..so we need to target Wycombe.
Hopefully Bury will beat them so that would put us level with Wycombe with a superior goal difference..assuming we both won the rest of our games!
I think it's between 8 teams for the 7 places now..both Port Vale and Rotherham are falling away.

Not sure who plays each other next weekend but looking at the table a win next Saturday and other results going our way could see us go second...
Or a bad defeat and results going against us could see us 9th and out of the play-offs! Can't recall such a tight league for some time

Then you'd back them to get the 3 or 4 points needed to finish the job off, even in tricky games. Wycombe have to travel to Plainmoor and Gigg Lane, that's their trickiest games left. The home ones look very winnable for them though.

Wouldn't put it past Allen to keep Barnet up.
Burton, Northampton and Lincoln all look woeful at the moment.
Stockport will be fighting for their League status on Saturday, so far from an easy game.

I may be imagining it but we seem to put in our worst away performances (today, Torquay, Gillingham) when we do the big club thing, travel down Friday, stay overnight etc.
Time to save a few bob and make the players realise they're not all that - 6:30AM Saturday pick ups at the Greenhous from now on. Our players are too soft!

Harrold Collins partnership just doesn't work.
Collins and Bradshaw for the next game please.

I've just said that on Radio Shrops, I personally think defenders at this level find Harold easy to play against, He is slow, hardly prolific, and does not have the nous to win free kicks instead giving them away, hence us losing possession and dictating to the opposition.

Another ex player scoring against us, doh!
Now then - is Jake Simpson still at Stockport???
And is Leslie able to play against us or have we learnt our lesson from the Robinson affair??

Answers in the same order: Sounded like Herd's goal was just a bad break for us so not quite the same as the other ex-players' goals. No. And no - so yes.

I am sure there are Town fans happy Herd scored even though we lost, he maybe a decent guy and 100% pro but I am sick of the Ben Herd love in, even Stu Dunn can't resist interviewing him every time we lose at Aldershot, and asking him if he thinks we will go up. Time to let go, ffs the guy has just contributed to our downfall.

Is it a case that Shrews are a young side and that when under real pressure lack enough experienced heads to steady the ship. I for one would bring back Shane Cansdell Sherrif for the next game. He should have been put back in the team after his slight injury.
You do wonder if this is going to be another season of "close but no cigar"

You do wonder if this is going to be another season of "close but no cigar" It's in the hands of the squad, the talent is there, its all about mental strength now. Oh and no dodgy decions aka Wycombe
