And why not Another one not rated on here doing well. What does that tell you Oh so i assume you predicted he would be attracting interest from Liverpool in a few years then?

What does that tell you Simpson was a poor manager who would never give Humphrey the coaching, even after he asked Simmo??

Frightning pace + good coaching + a willing / good learner = a good player.

Humphrey was always a work in progress and from that respect I was sorry to see him go. Having seen him occasionally on televised matches with Motherwell, I cannot say there is any really marked improvement.
Give me Jon Taylor any day.

Well done Mr. Humphrey, i hope things go your way, it will certainly be interesting to see how you cope in the Prem. If he does land a big money transfer, how much for a young Mr Taylor( who, in my opinion, is a far better "footballer").

Lionel Ainsworth is a better winger than humphrey as he has greater ball control and is even quicker

Many people knew Humphrey could make the grade if he could be coached some of the simple things.

He was hardely that bad when he was here, has grown up and flourished in Scotland...
Personally I think well done to the lad, and would be supprised to see him teeing up burly forwards at a Mid Table Prem side next season... so Liverpool could be on the cards!
If Pennant can get a game on the wing week in week out in the prem anyone can frankely

took quite a lot of stick from certain more blinkered and frankly idiotic sections on here, thankfully i was always a fan of his and would happily point out that he had loads of potential if a certain mr simpson hadnt been such an utter s**t head and such a crap manager.

Whilst I also agree that taylors contract should be sorted out asap, because even tho he has only played a dozen or so games such is the impact he has had with 6 goals and a couple of assists , it is clearly no coincidence that since his introduction to the 1st team we are so close to automatic promotion he is quite simply a frightening prospect for the future the type of player we would not be able to afford to buy such is his potential, put that to one side and I can't help feel sorry for the likes of harry hooman , who as a youth player looked a good prospect but couldn't quite make the transition from reserve captain to cutting it in senior football , along with danny Taylor he too started bright last season with a couple of decent shows for Simpson but has not took his chance this season so what will become of these two players I personaly think they could make decent conference players if they work hard enough for it.or does anyone think they may be offered new contracts at the meadow in the fringe squad

Well done Gary Peters on spotting the potential of Chris Humphrey. There also seems to be a lot of accounts using the same posting style as you who are all massive Danny Taylor fans and will bemoan his lack of first team opportunities at any opportunity.
