Even watching the last 10 would have revealed Nani was off for H2. However, going down by 3 against Liverpool probably does qualify the "poorest league leaders " title in itself

Are you arsene wenger in disguise ? your first post suggests you watched the whole game And not just the last 10 mins when united actually started playing and even scored Typical of you, I expect nothing else Not bitter no Just sarcastic I watched the post-match and caught the ever-insightful comments from Wilkins and Souness, as well as asking my Manc mate who went to the game, who was gracious enough to admit they were thoroughly outplayed. And if that last 10 mins was United starting to play, I don't want to know how bad they were for the other 80 Would you like a spade for that hole you are digging ?

I didn't watch the game, bar the last ten mins. I saw the after match of the main talking points and analysis, and spoke to a few people. Enough to form an opinion anyway. Now stop trying to deflect attention from how s**t United were

Forming an opinion is eeeeeasy.
The hard bit is deciding which side of the coin is which before flipping it.

Bad tackle from Carragher and also from Rafael on Lucas, both of them should have been sent off
I expect the thread to turn into Utd fans moaning about Liverpools antics and visa versa but from a neutrals perspective there were two bad tackles and then lots of handbags from both sides who were both as guilty as each other
The poorest Ive seen United play for a while but suppose having two centre halves out hasnt helped. Rooney looks a shadow of the player he was

Wasn't much of a game in fairness from aneutral standpoint neither side looked overly good, united lacked creativity and any sort of forward play from central midfield, they looked a lot better 2nd half going 3up top. Solid worman like performance as usual from kuyt, Suarez was good cracking bit of play for the 1st. But generally the football was poor, carrick, rooney and gerrard were all very poor gave the ball away far too often. Which is dissappointing to see from a national team perspective.
Hernandez continues to look an amazing prospect his movement and positioning is first class and seems to have that knack of getting into the right place at the right time. Would like to see united go 3up top more often, especially with valencia and park out. Would go with Berbatov and Hernandez over Rooney at the moment in fairness.

Why, whenever United lose is there always someone to blame?
As ProudSalopian says both should have gone (yes Pilch I have seen both incidents), and at the very least Phil Dowd deserves to be applauded for applying some level of consistency.

after carragher got away with that I think I would have flown into the next tackle too had I been playing Not defending him one bit either
if I remember right carragher got away with a certain red card in last years fixture too Nothing new there

Carragher should have gone and if he had i doubt the Rafael tackle would have happened. United would still have been 2 down and playing crap though so no guarantee they would have got anything. Clutching a very big straw to moan about that given the decisions they have had at times this season.

Would the 2nd incident have happened had the ref not just made a monumental howler ? all I say is think twice before you go screaming blue murder next time Rooney flicks someones ear The are 92 league sides out there all as bad as each other :-0

Off the ball elbows to the face, are just that, an elbow to the face. You do that, you should get punished. Whether or not Rafael would dive in or not who knows, he did something similar in the cup game, regularly seems to lose his head

Was there a game today?
The Carra challenge was a yellow, the Rafael one was as well. How do I know? Becuase that is what the referre gave. No worse than Jon Taylor taking his shirt off.
