I know one page worth of B&A can hardly be used as a barometer of all Shrews fans but seems like we'll be on for a decent following then.

Aparently we are a team they 'always do well against'. Clearly they didnt travel here this season or the season before...

I'll be making the relatively short trip over from Suffolk - hopefully a better performance than last season!

Two of us going. Sister lives in Silverstone so will be calling in there for lunch before the game.

Keep an eye out for the famous six fields cheese rolling before the game. Those who have been to the ground will understand, if not, your in for a treat

Would love to go if I can get a early finish off work tomorrow but I really need to save money for the Torquay weekender, so I'll probably give it a miss.

Keep an eye out for the famous six fields cheese rolling before the game. Those who have been to the ground will understand, if not, your in for a treat If you're planning on taking a little tumble down the bank, you might be disappointed to know that due to NTFC trying to save a bit of cash on maintenance, it hasn't been mown in ages and is now covered by 3ft tall, meadow-like grass and stinging nettles. Rolling down it might be an, err, painful experience. As for the game, you had a poor result midweek and dropped out of the automatics, and we have just lost our manager- Gary Johnson is likely to be taking a watching brief tomorrow and will start on Tuesday night at Chesterfield. Both sets of players could react to those things either positively or negatively, so I would't like to call this one. It is, however, the best chance you'll get to break your duck at Sixfields for a long time. Have a safe journey down, see you tomorrow.

I'm in attendance with several Herts/London based shrews and a Shrews from Caernavon. Also fan of the day - should be fun.
Got thrown out of the pub near the ground last time as I wasn't a Northampton fan - If they are adopting the same approach this year I guess its town centre or Bowling alley for pre match pints.

See you there! & anything better than Dunfields free kick punt that went high and hanson near the end of the game last season! I'll look out for you on the A14! Last year was a shocker - went with (slim) hope of reaching the play offs. Awful ground too - hey ho, I'm in the looking forward pre-match denial stage where I'm always excited about going. Whether I'll still feel like that at 16:50 tomorrow remains to be seen!!

Remember being refused entry to the pub nearest to the ground once (could be the same one as you describe) as the bouncer thought we looked 'shifty' as we walked along the car park to the pub Northampton has never been one of my favourite away days, remember walking down the road before one match to look at the rugby ground and even that looked more appealing!
