I pity any Stevenage season ticket holder.

Very annoying when you get Ref's who behave like cowards in the face of intimidating bully boy teams like Stevenage. If the game of football is ever going to be loser it will because referee's fail to apply the law because of not having the bottle to make decisions because of being scared of a particular team that base there game on kicking the life out of the opposition to stop them playing. He was obviously not scared of brandishing the cards for us on Saturday even though we were the team who were trying to play the game correctly. Maybe we should have come out second half and done the kiwi 'hakka' to put the wind up him so he might have left us alone like he did Stevenage for most of the game.

Hard team to beat but the worst footballing team that I can remember to visit the Meadow this season. Their no23 was irritating but looked a decent player.
Stevenage play to their strengths, fair enough, but take it too far - not a dirty team but a cynical one. Little or no entertainment value and they deserved nothing on Saturday. We did well to get 4 points from them.
Dagenham showed it doesn't have to be done that way.

Graham Westley's comments after the match. Stevenage manager Graham Westley felt his side had been "mugged".
Westley said: "For large periods of the game we've dominated, certainly in the second half.
"People can say what they want about them maybe sitting in a bit at 1-0 but I said to Graham (Turner) at the end that I felt as though we had been mugged.
"He didn't have anything to say back to me which is probably an indication that he felt the same way."That quote is one sound bite from Westley's post match interview.......... having just heard the full interview on Stevenage's site, the rest of his comments are quite balanced and sensible. As much as I didnt like some of his antics on the sidelines today, I accept he and Stevenage are doing very well in this league and I am just glad we dont have to play them again (playoffs excepted )
