Can remember us having some Swedish defender under Ratcliffe on the bench and a goalkeeper on trial from Portugal under Quinn.
Anymore?

Wasn't the Swedish guy in Ratcliffe's time a centre back who had been released by Stockport?
I think, but am probably wrong, that Gall and Neilsen were King signings.

Fredrik Bryngelsson his name was or something like that? Gall and Nielsen were signed by Fred Davies in his final season. Remember JK frequently looking north of the border for 'bargains', he eventually signed Steve Kerrigan as we all know, I think another trialist he brought down was a certain Chris Iwelumo, not sure if he played for the reserves or not but nothing seemed to happen of it in the end

Could Kris Bright count in this? I know he was on trial at Norwich before he arrived here, but he was plying his trade in Norway before then.

Both were out of contract from up North. King alas choose Kerrigan over Iwelumo, but in his defence Iwelumo was a bit of late developer... Just wondering.... If Bradshaw had been called up for the Welsh u21's this weekwould the Lincoln game have been postponed due to the three call-up's rule? Can I remember this happening a few times when Mossy, Edwards & Tolley were breaking through (Wales u21)?

How about former USA u20 captain Jay Denny. Signed by Peters from Stoke I think. I Remember his brace against Brighton in the League Cup and thinking he could be a find.
Was signed by Bernard McNally for Hendesford at the start of this season so nice to see the lad keeping it fairly local!

Robbie Turner. One of John Bonds signings who was from another planet never mind abroad.

I recall a youngish player in the early 80s called Nardiello - although I think he was from the local area but had Italian parents

Seems to recall a finnish guy called Thor Andersen, quite a few years back now, not sure if he ever made the starting line up, but he looked hot in the reserves. Think it was a broken leg that ended his short time here...

There are plenty: Sagi Burton too, but I forget which country he represented. Somewhere in the Carib. Sagi Burton comes from St Kitts & Nevis (I think)

Steve Pittman, American I think. One of Ian Mcneils shocking signings. No way was Pittman a shocking signing any more than Kasule, Bell or Irvine were. All were very skilful footballers who unfortunately let themselves and the club down. But what entertainment they provided!
