www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-12336960I believe "the domino effect" was coined to describe the spread of Communism, seems to me it is applying itself equally to the middle east. Me thinks King Abdullah may be s**tting his pants.

Entertaining lunchtime watching it kick off in Tahrir Square. If the anti-Mubarak faction don't start breaking a few skulls they're going to lose this. Just standing there and letting yourself get pelted by stones by a group that you out-number 3 or 4 to 1 isn't going to work.

Pro Mubarak supporters control all exits to Tahrir Square. Anti Mubarak demonstrators are trapped inside. Darkness has fallen. What do people think will happen next?

I fear for the future of the country. I`ve finally had some contact from the many friends I have in Cairo though thankfully.

Just had some messages from people who are planning a `walk away from Tahrir Square` now to attempt to allow things to regain soem sort of normality.

It's so much better having people free themselves rather than do it for them by aiming cruise missiles at them - but who would advocate that anyway? if it had been iraq under saddam i think there is a fair chance he would have shot the lot of them, then shot there families, and then for good luck dropped some mustard gas on their villages. human rights are poor in Egypt but mubarak is no saddam so the cruise missile point (jibe) isnt really valid in this case imo.

Good for them. Now can you stop boring us with this rubbish. Are you an American or something? Grow up. People die in situations like this, maybe not people you know but that's irrelevant. There are more important things to life than football, more significant events that affect thousands of people's lives. If people want to talk about them and you don't want to hear it because you're a immature little fcuknut, be my guest and delete your account. I'm sure you'll be sorely missed.

Stability in the middle east and to prevent the spread of radical islam. yes because we only want democracy when its "one of ours" getting into power. Allah forbid that a country should find democracy then get the kind of goverment they want eh. Much better they remain under the heal.
