he's been shipped out for his twittering, nothing to do with the football! Which is rubbish really. (I used an alternative word to rubbish) If ever GT and RW fell out there would be blood. Very alike.

I'M o.k. with that. Has'nt scored or been anywhere near early season form for a long time. We already have Collins, Bradshaw and Harrold, and him going to Torquay was obviously part of the WROE deal. Happy days.

This really is a very odd decision. I have been left very disappointed with this transfer window. Optimism has to be at an all time low for this season. Can't say I'm enthused about letting Robinson go & we haven't sovled the mdfield conundrum (again) but it's not been all bad. Signing Wright and Collins made sense and Grandison at first look appears useful. Equally, offloading Holden, Lewis Neal and Kris Bright is no loss. At least we haven't wasted any transfer money have we? True. It has been mentioned a lot that Turner won't sign anyone unless it will improve the first 11 but I kind of think that he should be finding those players. It is his job. I have always been happy to give this season to Turner as one of transition, I just hope that these young lads we have on loan prove to be decent.

Cant help but think this is a bad move, good luck Jake.
I realise a few loan players are the way to go, but would expect them to be proven ageing guys looking for a return to fitness and form, someone who could show our own kids a thing or too about being a good pro, but signing a lot of young kids on loan makes no sense to me unless we plan to so sign the all on terms at end of deal. I've lost track of how many we now have - i just cant help but think that means its too many! The huge gapping hole in midfield is clear for all to see and yet we bring in a cub from wolves very disappointed (although I hope im wrong). This can only mean GT thinks our current crop of midfielders are good enough! but I cant see it on the evidence so far not just recent games but we have had no real drive or strength since ladabe left. We have our own kids to develope otherwise why do we bother with a youth team
JUST TOO MANY LOAN PLAYERS

Leaves us short up front in my opinion. No it doesn't...... Bradders is a short @rse..... I'm thinking this might part of the Wroe deal and seeing a mid-fielder with a bit guile is a priority this makes sense on some levels. What odds that Robbo will be the only Shrewsbury player in the play-offs this season?

well Elder is due back soon and as it is only a one month loan maybe it is just to keep him match fit with a recall clause in it as 6-7 strikers we have You are Yoda AICMFP

Robinson has not been loaned out to Torquay because of what he's said on twitter..
He's been loaned out because he wasn't performing, now has 3 striker ahead of him in the pecking order and the need for a creative midfielder was much more than a striker who is sitting on the bench not playing at all.
Good move IMO. The lad thinks he's much better than he is. Hope he does well for them though, hope hecan improve his all round game and come back stronger next season.

He is out of contract in the summer, he has played his last game for Shrewsbury. Has potential but also has chips on both shoulders judged by his twittering. Good luck to him, hope he grows up and makes the most of his ability.

And I got mocked when I started a thread suggesting he was heading for trouble due to twitter Oh well Such is life ;-) I agree with you. Any player who moans on twitter is bound to end up in any managers bad books. It all adds up, lacklustre performances and moaning means bye bye.

I agree. I'm slightly surprised by this development, however, it's been unanimously (and rightly) stated on here for ages that our problem lies in our midfield not creating enough chances for our strikers. With that in mind, I don't think swapping one of our strikers (albeit a talented one) for an experienced midfielder is a bad trade-off, even if - in an ideal world - we'd have kept Robinson too.

Just as an aside, since Robinson's last goal (Oct 16) we have scored 20 times - only 5 of those have been scored by strikers and 2 of them came from Harrold.
