We aren't writing him off, just simply saying experience is what we need All weekend people have been demanding an experienced midfielder to take us to the next level, then some kid comes and suddenly people have a go for asking why we haven't brought in experience! You can't win My sentiments exactly...no one is having a go at young Davis, but how can an inexperienced player certainly become our midfield general?

He's a defender... centre back I'm guessing.
With all these youngsters coming in, we are lacking experience but also I guess it proves our own youngsters aren't up to the task as far as GT is concerned

Can the mods ban the name 'Sean Thornton' from appearing. I'm totally fed up in seeing how clubless midfielder who was on loan here 3 seasons ago at least and is apparently high maintenance and trouble is the answer to our problems
Christ why not just sign Tony Kelly up again

We've signed David Davis from Wolves on loan. GREAT yet another dwarf in midfield , good luck if true , but we need some experiance, height and power in there ffs
Paul Scholes is a 5ft 6in dwarf and seems to have done ok. Very experienced now but he started out as a newcomer and impressed from the start. Some of the names bandied about on this board would result in Off Receiver joining us as well . The players we have now brought plaudits from most people early in the season and should be capable of doing so again, I don't expect big names in unless "big" names go out to balance the books.

I can see Andy Carrol leaving newcastle for mega bucks. A £30 million bid for carrol from the din dippers already.I think Torres is on his way out of Anfield. what is a 'din dipper' If you are going to insult a city, at least make sense...

By the by chaps, what were the calibre of the loan signings that took Hereford up with Turner? Were they mostly youngsters from top flight clubs?

I saw this rumor of Torres of leaving Melwood (Liverpools Traning Ground) by Heli
Then saw this on another website
BREAKING NEWS: Martin Skrtel spotted leaving Melwood by Ox. Like every other afternoon.

He's played a big part in the goals scored by others though, it would be a massive loss to them. They've accepted a £500k fee for him, Derby County are also apparently interested.

Looks like GT is clutching at straws just to get new players in. He knows Downing from his time at Hereford and has had players on loan from Wolves before. All 4 signings so far this window have been from the Midlands. I know GT has the connections with those clubs but I'm sure there are lots of other good loan players out there. I see Oxford have just signed Simon Hackney on loan, that's exactly the sort of loan signing we should be going for. Proven players!

They also sign MacLean from Plymouth months back!

Still think there is more to come on deadline day, normally Whitters has things up pretty swiftly after news has reached the public domain.
The only thing maybe that the club are awaiting players to come down and sign on the dotted line but it's unusual to have heard nothing from the club regarding not 1 but 2 loan deals.

And use your brain, give me a small player that can tackle and use the ball rather than someone who is 6ft plus with a great ability to give the ball away , can't tackle (even if he is big enough to knock people over) and is generally not up to standard. I realise it's league 2 but rather hoped we might be looking to get to league 1 and that we might want players that can move up with us whereas you seem content with someone who is just league 2 standard.
