Busy day expected at the GM?
Elsewhere will Chelsea strike a deal for Torres?

We need sommat, desperately need something to kick start the season again. If we see no changes at Town today then I really do fear for the season, I do wonder how we are going to turn things around without some addition to the squad…

We need sommat, desperately need something to kick start the season again. If we see no changes at Town today then I really do fear for the season, I do wonder how we are going to turn things around without some addition to the squad… Turner has repeatedly said he will only bring in players to improve the first XI, not as squad players. If he has been thwarted in his efforts for his top targets, I personally dont want to see him dropping down the list just to bring bodies in. Would rather he tries to make a silk purse out of the resources now, before a massive overhaul of the playing staff in the summer.

Turner has repeatedly said he will only bring in players to improve the first XI. Well I certainly hope so otherwise I don't see any use of him having a look to bring anyone in anyhow...

When Roland said he wanted Championship football in 3 seasons when he appointed Simpson i was taken in by it. Roland please just buy us a really good midfielder cause i'm getting cheesed off now.

Luke Boden, central midfielder released by Sheff Wednesday. Wouldn't surprise me if Turner went for him.

Daily Mirror reporting that the Torres fee has been agreed.........................

Twitter is an added bonus on transfer deadline day, at least for the big business. Amazing levels of abuse on their towards some people doing their job.
Balague took enormous flak for suggesting late last week that Torres wanted to leave Liverpool. Now a Town fan is handing it out to a Mirror journalist for claiming that a bid has been accepted for Torres.

What is the logic of bringing inexperienced kids in on loan... I don't understand
(no offence meant to David Davis, I'm sure he's a very good player!)

totally agree with previous comment, why bring in someone in- experienced , on loan at darlington and walsall, hardly setting the world on fire, would of made more sense to keep tutte, if GT was going down the youngster route. so far frustrating, as this doesnt make any statements to anyone, just another untried youngster from wolves, with the decent amount of unattached midfielders out there ie. the sheff weds lad, who have experience at higher level, why go with some junior, and if he was that amazing he would be knocking on the wolves first team door, as their squad is nothing compared to man city's in tutte's case, so please explain...... dissapointed at mo, sorry.

Perhaps the fact he can play at right back gives us a clue, that GT is looking for versatility

We aren't writing him off, just simply saying experience is what we need
All weekend people have been demanding an experienced midfielder to take us to the next level, then some kid comes and suddenly people have a go for asking why we haven't brought in experience!
You can't win

giving someone a chance , totally understand, but not really what everyone was hoping for bearing in mind the coward like performances of the oxford and bury away, i just feel there are surely players who play in midfield who have far more experience, and available then some youngster from wolves who has only played a handful of pro games, and for so long everyone has been crying out for a decent midfielder, lets hope he is amazing, but my point again, wolves have weak squad in terms of prem standard, so if he was that great he would be knocking on the door there surely, as mcarthy would give him a go......thats all im saying...we shall see, please be amazing, and commanding, tough tackling, all out centre midfielder and job done..... we shall see, fingers crossed..
