Apparently, Joe is expected to play the whole 90 minutes tonight as Frank Fielding and Scott Loach are the only other goalkeepers.

He's been back for a couple of games I think and all I know is that he missed an open goal in one of them. He don't look right, and the game is awfully boring even moreso after last night!!

Can't believe the commentators and pundits are so enthusiastic about this? But then, it is ITV...

I was just thinking about that film with Thug Tomlinson in, can't remember the title but he ended up in chrge of In-gur-land.
I wonder if Mr Capello is value for money at 6 million, or should we punt on a English bloke for a change regardless of European success.

What a nice departure from Rooney. I don't care how big a name he is maybe dropping him would give him a kick up the ass to get his act together.

Gerrard needs to get over himself too.
Yes, two goals, fair play. But in reality, it is against Hungary in a friendly having underperformed at the World Cup, and tonight.
Celebrating like that was a joke, he probably thinks everything is all rosy.

Proper booing for Rooney: never thought I would see the day.
Any team better than Hungary would put one man on Gerrard and we would be stuffed.

Gerrard played with pride, Rooney can be summed up by his inability to sing the National Anthem and the manner of his departure from the field, no pride, absolute disgrace.

Really impressed with young Gibbs, not sure how secure he is defensively though I think he should be pushing Clichy this season

Not having seen the incident what did Mr Rooney do ? He was getting jeered off the pitch so he "waved goodbye" to the crowd. A bit childish if you ask me
