Can just picture you now Bizzy lad....
Crawling under the fence with your camoflage gear on, all the while avoiding the guards in the tower and ducking those penetrating searchlights!!
Good luck Bizzy! Hope the City security are not complete jobsworths and common sense prevails! Desperate for news of this one! Been way too long since PV!

Hello,
Have just asked and been advised that it is a real 'behind closed doors game' so no fans will be allowed in. The security on the gate at the Blues training ground won't let anyone in other than players or coaching staff.
cheers

Whats the point in that, why not have it here or at St Andrews? Make a bit of money in the process?

One reason may be so you can keep any potential trialists etc. under wraps.

As Ant said, potentially keeping trialists under wraps Also, if it were to be played here, you would have to have policing/stewarding, plus obviously food/drinks etc. Im led to believe this game was arranged at short notice so wouldnt have been enough time to sort everything for a full friendly I am surprised at how few games we have got though

I am surprised at how few games we have got though Only five games (including tomorrow morning's fixture) if we dont make any progress in the SW Cup.... really annoying as other teams are starting their pre-season schedules around now and I have to wait another two weeks before I take my first look at the team (the Coventry game) Chester have a date free this weekend now that their game at Rhyl for next Saturday was cancelled on police advice...... mind you I dont think we would be too high on Cheshire Police's recommended list of teams to visit for a pre season friendly!

I just wonder if there are a couple of players pondering a move to Planet Greenhous who might be getting a game in today, behind closed doors would offer such opportunities without alerting others etc.

Lewis Neal could yet prove people wrong, new manager fresh start and they reckon hes the best player by a mile in training.

I passed the Minibus just coming off the M54 onto the A5 about 2.30 and one of our longstanding defenders gesticulated to me that we had indeed scored two I have it on good authority that another player intimated to Reg through the action of mime that the other team had scored nil
