Straight battle between us and Hereford to sign the Peterborough midfielder.

Toumani is a very, very good player, controls the midfield, Very good signing, if either us or Shrewsbury get him

He'd hardly played much first team football at that point. Given the games he's played since (mostly in L1) I'd suggest there's a chance he might have progressed since you last saw him?

yes the rest was playing in the reserves, you ask Rotherham fans what they think of him and i bet you won't get one complimentary reply
but at the end of the day it's all about opinions, the Rotherham fans don't rate him ,the Hereford fans do rate him and i'm not sure what the peterborough fans think of him

Also interesting to note on the link provided it mentions about Sergio Torres joining conference side Crawley. Wasn't quite a few on here really wanting him to join last year? Can't be that good.

Interesting, it's good to see things are happening transfer wise now. Surely something will happen this week, surely!? and surely, we just about edge it (at least!) ahead of Hereford, dont we?

and surely, we just about edge it (at least!) ahead of Hereford, dont we? You'd have thought so, but it could be that there are monies still due to Hereford making the deal easier for them. Brentford bailed out of a deal for the lad cos of P'boro's valuation so the fee they are after must be hefty.

Crawley seem to have come into money with reports that they have bid £150k for one player and £50k for another.

On the hereford forum they are all getting very exited that they are in talks with him.. Would be funny if we were to sign him now, they would all be gutted. Would be a double blow with the whole Turner thing which has left a few Hereford fans angry and now we are being linked with Ainsworth and Robinson they wont like it one bit

Seems odd this deal wasn't tied up with Langers going if we are so keen. A good player from what I've heard but we may have just made an enquiry about his availability and Mr Fry is using this to push a better deal through. Time will tell though, seems 2/3 deals will reach decision time in the next 48hrs.

Ainsworth is quality but I wonder if his performances here were a bit of a flash in the pan....he certainly hasn't done it anywhere else. Diagouraga is a class act who thrives on playing it along the ground and has a great engine. Given a choice of one, I'd take Toumani out of the three.

Interesting, the Huddersfield view seems to be they rate Robinson and not Ainsworth! In my view all three have the potential to excel at this level, are still young and would represent exciting additions to any Div 4 squad.

Anyway Tiggy is a very decent player at this level, may the best team win him.
