..very much looking forward to it... Have you not seen any England internationals in the past 30 odd years? My 8yr old took himself off to bed not long into the 2nd half of the Algeria game declaring that "even watching shrewsbury was more interesting than this..." 30 years would be pushing it our kid, the last 20 maybe... If you believe all the hype then perhaps you might be a little disappointed...only I don't...I have my own expectations when it comes to England and for the most part they have met them. Not this time around of course, a draw against the US I expected but I didn’t expect what came about last Friday. That was awful. I am however, confident we can get the win this Wednesday... I am enjoying this World Cup and I'm still enjoying England's participation in it...put it this way, miles better than the 2008 Euros...

It's the one day of "flexi-time" I get a year Jamo Ant if you want to extend the definition of working at home to include Penny Black's in the Mailbox then let me know! Got half day booked off on Wednesday as well as Thursday as a recovery day.

Isn't it funny how all those in the private sector have managed to get the time off !! How wide is that brush to make such a sweeping statement I will be doing my usual 6 to 6 Might record the game and do a 'Terry & Bob'

As a lazy, unproductive and overpaid public sector worker I have to work tomorrow afternoon for which I quite grateful. Will probably be able to catch last 15 mins or so on the BBC website

Got the day off
Initially work was going to be quite empty but a few people have cancelled their time off because of not wanting to waste holiday
Must say its the least Ive ever looked forward to watching England in a major tournament, Im half tempted not to bother going out to watch it and just stay at home. Although if the weather is nice then at least its beer garden weather

Isn't it funny how all those in the private sector have managed to get the time off !! I will be doing my usual 6 to 6 And you still finished 2 and a half hours before me. My boss is a miserable big-nosed git. So I will be working and and miss the game.
