and he was in the PFA team of the season last season. Looks good. 6ft 3in and only 29 years old which is lower than usual on new experienced central defenders"

Excellent signing I'd go as far as calling that a 'Wow' signing!

That is a very good signing and it's great to see GT signing a player for one of the main problem areas.

This is the perfect replacement for Coughlan, & at 29 we can hopefully get more than 2 seasons out of him.

Good signing.
Have the club employed Alaister Campbell as Media spokesman?
Only he could class SCS as a new addition to the squad.

Reading what the Rotherham fans think about losing him shows what a capture it is.

This is a "WOW signing" Top stuff Sir Graham!!! My thoughts exactly. Heard the rumour last week and thought it was too good to be true. Brilliantly offsets the loss of Jacko and Coughs. Any slight doubts I had about Turner being able to attract or funds being available have now evaporated! Stunning News!!!!

Sounds like another great defensive recruitment from Rotherham With SCS re-signing I cant see Skarz signing for us permanently now, we now have SCS, Leslie and McIntyre who are all able to fit into the left back slot. Next signing Lionel Ainsworth hopefully

Good signing.Just need Skarz to sign and that'll be a decent backline available.
Now for some pace in midfield and up front and we will have a side able to challenge.

To sign probably the best centre half in our division is massive and that along with the signing soon of a top class forward and a pacy winger will prove that Turner is here for one thing ......................................TO GET US UP.

With SCS re-signing I cant see Skarz signing for us permanently now, we now have SCS, Leslie and McIntyre who are all able to fit into the left back slot. I disagree. SCS is better in the centre and the other two aren't left backs (although perhaps Leslie might be converted). Still like to see a specialist left back brought in and Skarz fits the bill for me.

What a great first signing that is by Turner. As a defender the name has never hit the headlines, but taking into account the loss rotherham consider it to be, and him being in the pfa team of the year this past season shows, that as others said, this is a "wow" type signing.
Keep 'em coming. Wycherley must again be willing to support financially, to beat rotherhams offer means ours must be pretty big. Chuffed with this.

This is positive. If we can get a couple of decent wingers, a good striker or two we'll be looking alright.

Very good signing, but not a wow signing by any means.
People on here need to stop getting over exited about things before they have even pulled on a Town strip.
I remember cirtain people stating that Nathan Elder was a 'WOW' signing before he turned out to be rubbish.
We dont need WOW signings, just need to build a team capable of getting out of the league, look at Degenham for example, no WOW signings at that club.
Sharps is a quality league 2 player and hope he shows his quality for us.

Fantastic Signing! Don't see whats the problems with Langmead now. SCS can play left back and midfield too and Langmead has proven he can play right back. Now we need to get rid of deadwood and get a new goalkeeper, creative midfield player and striker Defense- Sorted!

Totally agree with that. I want to see a TEAM not a bunch of individuals who can't play together.

I think he looked very good from what i've seen. I'm not sure but was he their player of the year? Captain too so clearly Coughlan's replacement.
Interesting that he's ex tranmere too, as is SCS who they've just announced as signing a new deal.....co-incidence?!
Good signing in my book!

If we can sign Skarz as well then that will be a very solid back line and we will have more than adequate replacements for injured or suspended players which is exactly what we have been crying out for and what we missed last season.
