Is Islamic slaughter cruel?
The question of how an animal should be slaughtered to avoid cruelty is a different one. It is true that when the blood flows from the throat of an animal it looks violent, but just because meat is now bought neatly and hygienically packaged on supermarket shelves does not mean the animal didn’t have to die? Non-Islamic slaughter methods dictate that the animal should be rendered unconscious before slaughter. This is usually achieved by stunning or electrocution. Is it less painful to shoot a bolt into a sheep’s brain or to ring a chicken’s neck than to slit its throat? To watch the procedure does not objectively tell us what the animal feels.
The scientific facts
A team at the university of Hannover in Germany examined these claims through the use of EEG and ECG records during slaughter. Several electrodes were surgically implanted at various points of the skull of all the animals used in the experiment and they were then allowed to recover for several weeks. Some of the animals were subsequently slaughtered the halal way by making a swift, deep incision with a sharp knife on the neck, cutting the jugular veins and carotid arteries of both sides together with the trachea and esophagus but leaving the spinal cord intact. The remainder were stunned before slaughter using a captive bolt pistol method as is customary in Western slaughterhouses. The EEG and ECG recordings allowed to monitor the condition of the brain and heart throughout.

I don't mind people having the crack and a laugh, but when you bring my kids into it. Well lets just say it may touch a nerve. to be fair, you brought your kids into it and people agreed with you. There point was an insult towards me using my kids against me, making out i'm some kind of bad parent which is ****ing wrong. My kids are clothed, fed, looked after properly with care and affection. I take my lad with me all over the country watching town, hes a season ticket holder too and so is middle lad too from next year. Anyone who dares judge my parenting is asking for serious trouble. I used my kids in term of I feel sorry for them being brought up in a country that COULD well be in conflict over religion and culture in the near future. This can be seen with the EDL and Islam4UK/UAF bulls**t that happens every other week. I hate what Britains become, I feel unsettled by the increase in migration, asylum and the bulls**t European union. I don't mind certain areas of the country being multicultural at all, but the thought of the whole of Britain one day being multicultural is quite frightening. As this increases so does the tension, hence the rise of the far right BNP and the centre right EDL. What ever government takes over needs to minimise what comes in, take what we need for an example a doctor, dentist, scientist or engineer. If they are non professional but skilled then pending which skills they have can be taken into consideration. I wouldn't let any in to open up corner shops though, we got enough of them. The government that takes over needs to sort this problem out, I don't care who gets in, Lib Dems, Labour or Conservative just decrease the migration income to a minimum thats needed.

Matey, the scare stories you hear are just that. nobody is going to make you be a muslim, a fair proportion of the public are agnostic or atheist, they arent going to change, and i am pretty sure that my christian friends feel the same.
i find the way you talk about other nationalities worrying, we are all human beings, we all want similar things, it isnt them and us.
as for the joke about your kids, it was the way you said it, that made the reaction, i nearly said it myself but thought someone else would. we dont know how you bring your kids up, so it is obviously a joke, dont take things personally from those that dont know you as a person.

The BNP PR chief must be pleased with the efforts of the couple of sympathisers who post here.
They have got more posts about this insignificant party on B&A than the 3 main parties put together.

I have nothing against Islam as long as it does effect my way of life. My religion is far older than any other.

I sat and watched it and if I hadn't of known better it could of been a "Brass Eye" production.
Hence my real poor attempt at satire yesterday, yes, sorry about that.
For the record, I don't feel like a second class citizen.

3 minutes and 45 seconds in to the broadcast Nick Griffin gives a not so subtle hand gesture to show what he thinks of Labour.

onthetrain92, if you feel so strongly about politics then why on earth are you refusing to vote?

Blimey, that BNP broadcast managed to be both horrible and amusingly amateurish at the same time! Reminded me of those adverts for local businesses they sometimes have at the cinema. Griffin is such a repulsive slug. And other than bringing our troops home from Afghanistan do the BNP actually have any concrete policies? I guess not, as they are just a faux-legitimate front for racist and fascist ideals.

Who does he think he is Stalin? His use of British war clips was bullpoo, the classical tense music you'd expect to hear in behind a leader like Stalin or Hitler is so outdated. He says something along the lines of "Our war hero's fought to remain British, not multi-cultural or politically correct". They didn't fight to remain British, both wars were a reaction to Deutschlands actions, WWI - continuous treaty's and marching through Belgium. WWII - Hitler breaking the rules of the Treaty of Versailles and occupying territory's. Griffin is a bum =[

That could easily be passed as satire.
I hope they don't win any seats, but a democracy is such that if 5% of the population support them they will gain 5% of the seats (in theory). Meaning they only have a 5% influence on events in parliament, leaving the remaining sane parties with 95% of the power. So not such a bad thing if it comes down to it.
The only problem with that theory is I think there is large support for the BNP in small pockets of areas meaning they could whip up enough support to win a seat here and there. In that event they are more than likely to take votes from traditional tory voters, swinging the majority vote to labour. Unless they steal votes from inner city labour strongholds.
I guess the moral of the story is don't vote BNP.

Not sure if its already been posted, but on South Today a few weeks back, they were following NG around one of the areas he was canvassing...can't recall, might have been some london suburb...anyhow, one of his lackies who was on his broadcast the other night, was wandering around the streets with NG, dressed in full desert gear, with chest rig webbing etc...no beret tho. I'd like to know what credentials this muppet has which entitle him to wear british military uniform in a public place...

I perhaps agree with one thing from that
Nick Griffin, he isn't a liar, he is a racist
though ive also got to say, it is all the other parties fault to an extent, because they have basically homogenised into one standard party. I really can't tell much of a difference between Tories, Labour or Lib Dems
please don't worry - because I wont be voting for the BNP in a million years, but what is terrible is that there is no party for the working man (or women, black or white, christian or otherwise) and thats a big problem in its self
unfortunately I predict that these guys (BNP) will establish themselves as the '4th' party in the country,
it could be a wake up call none the least

We've got a young lad staying with us tonight who is probably a Muslim. (No, really). His Mum was rushed to hospital to have her baby. Great news, because I haven't got the watch the 3 monkey's telling fibs on the tele. We've got cartoons on at the moment. Much more believable than politicians.

Ironic.
BNP show clips of British and American (please do your research Nick old chap) fighting the Hun in the 40s.
Ironic Britain went to war to defeat a right wing, racist organization determined to have only the Aaren race in their country whilst picking on Jews, Gipsy's and Homosix....Homosux....Hemo....all sod it lets call them Matrons.
Ironic really because our troops who are being used by the BNP for political gain were fighting the German BNP who in essence were known as the Nazis.
You couldn't make it up......
