As for other Town players having a shot, both Leslie and Cureton, hit the woodwork from outside the box. Treat Tom carefully, just as we did with the young Luke Rodgers, in the great escape season. He made a couple of impressive contributions late in the season, including scoring a brilliant goal, against Brighton, but Ratters got it right by not putting the pressure on him, in that never to be forgotten day at Exeter, where he watched the game from the bench. The experienced players got us into this mess, so let them get us out of it.

In a way i agree, though it has to be said some of the kids could/should have been playing weeks ago.No point in starting with this lad now as the pressure will be on and he will be a marked man,use him from the bench and then throw in all the kids together once the season is over and the playoffs are out of reach. We may lose but the experience they will gain could be valuable next season.
