Same old story, heart full of determination, but still not good enough, a good team would have punished us again down that flank.

tough one to call? cant say he was too bad today, mossy was a class above today, as for sam quick as lightning great skill but no real end product? cramby and jody both missed real sitters, but we rarely play well away so happy with our lot today.

Rioch was the only player who seemed to be enjoying a pint in the social club after the game.
Thought he was poor again but did make a couple of comical charging runs forward

He also got 3 of there defenders booked early cos he's so quick, making it difficult for the NV defenders to tackle him throughout the rest of the game.

I am really worried about the Daggers game cos if gregor plays we will defo lose. Again we see that even against northwich who are rubbish he was getting beat and doing stupid things - out of position ect (although a bit less than last week) so against a good team he will get ripped apart. I thought it was class when he went to control the ball midway in the second half and just really badly contoled the ball out of play - i sware even i can control the ball better than that.
Please quinny play Sedgemore at left back on sat or i fear we will regret it (street midfield - although hes not much better at the moment)

it seems his every mistake is being seized upon which is a tad unfair, as he wasnt to bad at all today, the same could have been said of street today who was a little of the pace?

In fairness to street he never started the game but he did look poor and unsure of what role he was to play when he came on

Without doubt he was better today than Boxing day, but his better days arent good enough. The guy cannot be faulted for effort. Saying all this his distribution was better than Lowe's....shocking

Rioch was definitely not the worst Town player on the park yet here we go with the sniping. You wanted him to play better. HE DID. What more can you ask of the bloke? GET OFF HIS BACK, allow him to relax and rediscover his form, otherwise he will become the latest whipping boy and we will lose a committed player who, I remind everyone, is a Nationwide League player now in the Conference with the rest of our League players. He didn't put us here, but he might just help to get us out

I'm one of his biggest critics but today was an improvement on his many showings this season so credit where its due............................
Would say however that the bollocking that Tinson gave him first half when he sold himself with a tackle about 15 minutes too early scared the hell out of me and I was about 25 yards away..............
Better performance........still further improvement required.................

He didn't put us here, but he might just help to get us out sorry buddy, but you really are going mad now he was a mediocre player in his last spell he hasn't got any form to rediscover he played better, but was still number 10 of our 11 players (what has happened to Street) he isn't a league player, he's a part time conference player who never made it in the league I do agree he had a decent game today and that some of the criticism of him is harsh, but making grand claims that he is some sort of saviour of the club really does just make you look silly

The point I am making TBH is that we cannot afford to lose experienced palyers. He is not that bad that he needs to be consigned to the bin.
We have a habit at Shrewsbury of hounding players e.g. Peer, Gale. OK they weren't that good but the Manager signs them and picks them to play so where should the criticism be aimed?

Gregor must be on his last chance with Quinn now as his perfomances do not warrant a place in the starting 11 and when Tolley returns Sedge must play left back.
Any decent team will concentrate on hitting a weak point in a side and every time a player runs at Rioch I have a 'Redmile' moment where a panic sets in that he's going to be pulled apart. And guess what happens...
Aiston and Ricoh are not linking up well on the left and to for the team to remain solid for the rest of the season this needs to be addressed.

It is no coincidence taht Sammy has seen more of the ball in the last two matches than all season, and he has turned in match-winning performances. Doesn't he play on the left just ahead of Rioch?

Yes and Tinson also had a good game aswell, I suppose that's due to Gregor as well? Sammy's form has nothing to do with Gregor being 'steady' at best, I cannot beleive you can justify a comment like that! Each to there own eh? He's a liabilty to the rest of the squad, he's like the fat kid at school that everyone picks last. (that'll be me then ;D ) The team does not need him, he brings nothing to the squad and the sooner Quinny realises this then the better.
