One of those jumpers you wear would soak up the puddles

if the club put a post up asking for volunteer's, i'd be straight down there - haven't seen anyone on the pitch all day altho saying all that, its just brightened up a bit and the rains eased off......fingers crossed?

Am I missing something? Aside from one puddle next to the touchline the pitch looks pretty decent - nothing a brush or two couldn't take care of.
I think it just stopped drizzling here too.

I agree some guy, seems as if all thats needed is a few blokes sweeping that off then praying for not much rain, its not as if its the whole pitch thats under water by the looks of things. Seems like the club has already made their own decision??

do they need any volunteers to pump water onto the pitch or is there enough on there already to get the game called off ;D

Have they already made their minds up or will they actually get on with the inspection?

i love town fans, we have a conspiracy theory for everthing!
rodgers is injured - (no he's not, the club we are selling him to have told us not to play him)
pitch inspection at 12 - (not there isnt, the club have already called the game off, they dont want it to be played)
;D

The one big puddle is right in front of where JP sits. So no problems with that one, once B&As No1 poster starts spouting hot air

the weather sucks so the game is off
why is that a problem?
sure it is annoying, and I pity exiles half way through a long journey, but any conspiracy stuff is just cack
why would they give up a major saturday date just before christmas with a big crowd in the only saturday game this month
and swop it for a windy tuesday night in february
probably cost them 1000 on the gate for what would have been a busy day down at the meadow, and all people can do is claim it's somehow a fix?

The Saturday before christmas is always a poorly attended affair, that is why the club asked the conference for permission to swap to the friday night.
Check out the pitch web cam, has someone left the hose pipe on in that corner?
Shouldnt moan too much though, they are normally really poor games. Last year we lost 6-0 at Boston, and and two or three years ago we lost one nil on the Friday night, in an awful match against Southend.
