That's not a bad effort so far, I'd imagine we'll sell a fair few today and tomorrow.

I think people were waiting to see if we messed up on sat - and now we did - some of the "part-timers" might think this is our only chance of winning anything this season and thus spur them of to go!!!!

I'll be surprised if we sell them all, however the S/Star is likely to start hyping it up today so you never no.

It'll be higher than 3,000 I'm sure of it although I think the late ticketing decision has denied any chance of it being a near capacity attendance.
I think if Town take over 2,000 fans it'll be an excellent turn out.
I just hope Salop can put in a good display.

I think this will be the first time we've played on a "level field".
Both games so far, we've dominated support-wise, it will be interesting to see how we do with a ground split (and filled) 50/50.

Ant are you allowed to sell them tomorrow as we aren't? I would hope you are going to sell all your tickets after all the whingeing some of you did?

we're selling on Tuesday according to ShrewsWeb. Guess they dont want Town fans (or "fans" ) turning up at the Duck's late avo/early evening and slipping in the wrong 'un.

We should sell over 2,000, not sure if we'll sell out though.
A good effort nonetheless considering tickets will have only been on sale four days before the game and there's been no home match since the ticketing details were announced.

TUFC had 17 days to make the arrangements They left it for 10 days They then left us with 4 days (five with tuesday) and no home game to sell our tickets however many we take is amazing considering the amateurish way the whole situation was handled by TUFC but we still love you Bally

You will not laugh - even if we take less than 2000 as you will be too gutted about the loss Now thats fighting talk for ya Anyway i still dont get the big deal about attendances - i have only ever been conserned with one thing between us and our main rivals - league points - and we are far enough ahead for my likeing!! If i were a telford fan (thank god i aint) would i care if we 20 fans to FGR and won when we take 1300 and draw? (this is possible the most pro telford post ever from me ;D)

why did you wait 10 days to do something that could have been done immediately? there was always a risk it would be all ticket get things sorted sooner but yes, it was the police, so good point on that score

Unfortunately we don't have ticket printing facilities at the Bucks Head so it a while for Wolves to print them out and ship them.

On reflection I think it's probably a good thing that we gave you the East terrace. Although I'd have prefered it if your lot who sing were on the east terrace, could have been classic

A great effort so far.
Looks like over 2000 away fans for the quarter final replay of a non-league trophy.
I'd expect that given proper warning (by whoever), we will take close to 2,700 for the league game.

Throbs, and indeed everyone else.
I have been at TUFC this afternoon and had an extremely productive meeting. The FACTS of the case are:
TUFC were told by the police last Monday that they wanted a meeting on the Tuesday, this had not been mentioned before
At the meeting the club were told that if it was not all-ticket it would not be staged at NBH.
The club were devastated about this, mainly for the length of time that the police had done nothing about the game.
The police have also told TUFC they cannot sell tickets tomorrow at STFC can.
All in all its not a happy camp there, but the police have got them by the balls. TUFC never wanted any of this, but the police said they would withdraw support if they did not comply. I beieve they even acted in isolation of the Shrewsbury Police on this subject.
Please, criticise all you like, but aim it at the police, NOT at the club. It is not the doing of TUFC.
I thank you!

It's interesting Ant G that Telford are being treated like Salop were back in the 80's and 90's for some games. In other words the bigger club is treated with all the respect and the smaller one like dirt.
They'll probably even allow us lot out first!
It is a joke and the Telford police didn't contact the Shrewsbury police about this. They acted totally unlaterally.
Interesting, one of the points mentioned in the Taylor Report was more co-ordinated policing. Just shows what a lot of bo11oc4s that is!

The Police are public servants, paid out of our council taxes - Those of Telford and Wrekin, in this case. ON behalf of the whole public of Telford and Wrekin, I apologise for allowing this. As a gesture of goodwill, I shall pay no council tax next year to show my disapproval

Seems like the Telford police have dropped an absolute bollock on this one and TUFC must be absolutely livid.
The decision not to involve any of the Shrewsbury force in their discussions coupled with the fact of how late the decision was made is utterly, utterly shambolic.

And obviously not use any of the services offered by the police if you do happen to have a car crash, get attacked etc. etc. p**s poor policing by someone in the Telford area though (remember though that this is a decision taken by a couple of individuals not by an entire police force).

Car Crash? Well, I don't drive, but I'm sure somebody else could direct the traffic around whilst the important people (The Fire Service - separate tax, and Ambulance Service - Income Tax/NI) do their work. Attacked? I'm far too big, ugly and poor to be bothered with. Besides, I believe in prevention rather than retribution, and the police are crap at dealing out both. Money best saved I reckon.

So the Police don't do anything important following major car crashes? Nor do they prevent or detect any assaults. Cheers for clearing that up.
