Crowmoor from 62 - 65
Then Wakeman Grammar 65 to 70
Interesting to see Terry Gennoe mentioned as we had a trip to see him play at Wembley for England Schoolboys.
God I'm feeling old!
I'm now a Governor at the Grange after my 2 daughters went there. And for all you Grange old boys Mr Stokes hasn't changed

priory boys 1978-1983. not sure they were the happiest of times but some great football times, straight from school to meet my dad, then into the meadow to get prime positions for the promotion clincher against exeter.
ps terry gennoe is now gk coach at celtic.

The day we had the meal by the beach they were all wrecked. Remember the one with the beard who nearly fell out the bus when the doors opened whilst travelling at 50 miles per hour Your birthday night was classic. After pukeing up and crawling into bed one of the teachers had heard and came to take a look and asked how you were. Your reply "I'm ****ing freezing" is lengendary He wasnt impressed.

Belvidere Boys, Left in 1978. Note the absence of the word school off the end of the name there, cos a school in those days it certainly was not. It was then just somewhere you attended cos that was the law. Just about the only thing you learnt was to keep your head down and avoid a kicking! very true Belvidere Boys 1976 Bunce the English teacher (when he wasn't down the bookies) brought his TV in (on several occasions) and we all watched the Derby for English

Tim - I believe the highlight was re-enacting the 66 cup final in the hallway each night cos some daft get put a German family on our corridor !!! As for the teacher who was not best pleased I think the fact that we played rugby for college with him as the coach got us out of a load of bother that week ! Anyway - remember locking ourselves out on the balcony on the sixth floor and climbing next door to get in ? or bombing the pool with the contents of the fruit basket ?

very true Belvidere Boys 1976 Bunce the English teacher (when he wasn't down the bookies) brought his TV in (on several occasions) and we all watched the Derby for English God Yes!. Had forgotten about Phil Buncy. Wonder if you ever did Physics. We didnt even though it was on the timetable. Cos the teacher ( Cant remeber his name) would always put a video on and fall asleep at the back of the class! Those were the days........not.
