Dont want STFC to be a new Arsenal or Man Utd, I love the fact that we are a football club playing football, not a multi national company whose heads are so far up their arses they can see this mornings breakfast. As things are at present, in the conference at Gay Meadow. New manager perhaps, but like the rest of the town, change is about as fast as a slug with a slight limp.

Back in Div 3 but only cos of mismanagment of other clubs in the upper levels that get expleled from the footbal league, But i doubt Quinny, Luke, Tolly and Edwards will be around. As for the new ground - You just gotta belive that in 2 years something could be sorted out. Oh and Telford will be trying but failing to get out of the conf!

I'll be over optimistic and say we'll be top of Div 2, and on this weekend in two years time we will have beaten Leeds at Elland road. We'll be getting ready to buy tickets for the league cup final at Cardiff after beating Chelsea in the semi's. Jimmy Quinn will be manager and still occasionally pulling on his boots and scoring golas at 46. Luke, Jamie, Dave Edwards, Joe Hart etc sign contract extensions to secure there long term futures to Salop. The New Meadow is near completion, and the Shrewsbury and Actham borough is a labour run council. . But'll settle for mid-table obscurity in Div 3 for now

A half built ground with a team faltering and struggling to play consistantly, reguardless of what division we are in.

Div 3, in the New Meadow, Jimmy's boats have cobwebs on them, Luke is a regular with Birmingham, Jamie and Dave with Cardiff, Sam becomes a regular scorer with us alongside Jody. We average 7,500 thousand and 50,000 travel away. Pilch is still dieting Harmerhill still a prat and boring ;D WelshShrew is a father of triplets Chris Wynnne's hair has grown back there are more but I dont want to spoil all surprises.

Optimistic : Back in division three and in with a chance of the play-offs. New Meadow official opening against Tottenham Hotspur just a few months away. New investors coming into the club because of the club's improving financial postion and potential. Pessimistic : Lower mid-table in the Conference. Having to make economies by cutting the wage bill and scrapping the youth system. The Directors have resigned because of the failure to deliver New Meadow. Promotion to Football League impossible because Gay Meadow does not meet FL criteria. Serious consideration is being given to merging with Telford to create a unified county team playing at NBH. At my most depressing I can't see us going up this year even if we stay in the play offs. If we do make it back into the league we'll be bouncing along the bottom of div 3 for a couple of seasons I think.
At my most optimistic I think we'll go up via the play offs, bounce along in mid table div 3 than push into the play offs again and who knows?
Either way if our names on the FA Trophy this year at least we'll have a pot to pi$$ in.
