Out of the team, yes.
Out of the club? Well, who else do you have in mind? Bit risky to have to change tack for a new boss whilst we're still in contention for the playoffs?

To ask for Quinn's head after today would be the biggest overreaction in the entire history of overreactions, but he has to understand in no uncertain terms how angry people are over this He can start by hanging up his bloody boots and getting on with the job he was employed to do!

Yes you and anyone else that thinks he should be sacked off the back of one result.

I cannot believe you are asking for his head. One poor result. Is this the smell of fear of a repeat of last seasons decline rising to the nostrils?

Yeah totally agree with harmerhill, a disgrace. No one should think that the manager should be sacked! Everyone has been with him for the last 2-3 weeks and now everyone changes after one result. Give the man a chance, wait till the end of the season! Lets get behind the ladsd!
I do agree that he should hang up them boots and get back to just managing!!

I would rather have Quinn at leftback then Rioch.
Did Quinn have a really good go at Rioch in ther first half some time?
I think Rioch might be on his way.
Poor poor team performance, i think all in all an extra bad away performance not helped by tinson having a bad game.
Still in fifth, 2 points ahead of exeter, still 3rd best goal diff in the league, home game next. (Accrington which will be at test)
could be worse.
Quinn is doing an OK job, just makes a few iffy decisions now and again, things will get better.

I am sorry but this conversation came up after we 6-0 at Boston and sadly Ratcliffe was backed to the hilt. While I put Quinn out on another thread, I want to look at the roles of messars Bates and Cooke.
Thankfully relegation to another league is way below the standards which I cant see us dropping to, but then again how many of the other teams in this league who are going for promotion lost 5-0 at a club who recently lost 2-1 at home to Leigh and who Aldershot just did the double over?

Quinn didn't replace Rioch at left back, we changed formation to three at the back and three up front
How the hell can Quinn bring himself on as an extra forward leaving Darby on the bench?
I wonder what Darby thinks about that!

we just need to adress our away form, i fear this will and is our down fall, alas the likes of hereford and chester dont suffer the same problems as us?

1 bad result? Thats a joke our away form is dreadful the fact is this is more than one bad result. I'm not saying we should sack him but the fact is he hasn't done a great job so far maybe after time after he has learnt the art of tactics we will acheive but i don't think we'll go up this season, not now. After the way we went down last year it was never going to be easy and i didn't think we'd win the league but the way we've lost some games has been awfull. I now fear we will have to do a Chester and wait a few years. Sadly the conference just isn't the same as league football we don't belong with teams like telford. Oh yeah and if any telford fans read this Crewe are crap anyway we beat them last year and went down so don't htink your good.

Quinn shouted something at Rioch along the lines of "Start Talking". Perhaps that's a typo on my part though.....

harmerhill, he is entitled to a view and he expressed it politely and put up his poll. It appears at least three people so far agree with him (though not me). Calling him a prat does you no favours. There's too much abuse on these boards, anyone is allowed a view. If you disagree then make your point but please don't just sling insults out.

Sorry Chris but you do not sack a manager off the back of one bad result.

I agree with that but equally I don't sit behind my keyboard calling a young lad, who has only ever posted polite messages on this board, a prat.
You'll see the 'no' option on his poll is winning comfortably so most people realise a sacking would be an over reaction.

OK I apoligise to the young lad.
He will perhaps learn as he gets older.
It annoys me that one bad result brings out so much stupid posting from alot of people that should know better.

It's the same with supporters of all clubs. Win and they're world beaters, lose and it's the end of the world.
I felt people were too kind after New Year's Day, I really wasn't that impressed. But equally, as bad as today sounds, we're not suddenly the worst team in the Conference.
Incidentally, it's the third time the Daggers have hit five this season so they are capable of scoring a lot of goals.
Having said that, you have to admit we are not as good as you must have hoped we'd be by now. I was expecting more from Quinn, especially after the excellent form and results in pre-season.

Andrew, I can see entirely where you are coming from with this, but I dont know if you heard the commentary or spoken to anyone who was at the game, but it was a disgraceful 5-0 result and someone needs to take the blame for this and not paper over the cracks (taking a phrase from PPP) and say it was a one off etc

Mr. Hamerhill. I believe that you have visited the J_P Shrews "Quinn out". Yet you have not called him a prat etc. As Chris H pointed out i was not saying Quinn should be sacked, hense the poll. I voted "No". If you dislike me for no particular reason- then - thats fine. But J_P said "Quinn out And i do mean this" Are you saying that 5-0 to a lower club i not a disgraceful performance? If so- then start your own thread saying exectly that. However a formal apoligy would be accepted- how about directley to me?

If I may stick my nose in for a second, I have to say most of you seem to be taking it rather well. Personally I think you've got to ask some serious questions when you're getting tonked at this level. Nobody expected you to walk the league, I know it's not that bad a standard, however with the level of support you're drawing 5 nil defeats are unacceptable.
Anyhows, I hope for your sakes it was just a freak result. Doesn't bode well though.

Whats all this about one bad result.Weren t any of those who post on here at the games against Tamworth,Barnet .Leigh and in particular Stevenage. We have already lost 5 games this season in the conference. The reason we are doing better this season is because the teams we re playing and struggling to beat are absolutely crap

There was a letter in the Star last week from a Town fan saying that they were quite happy for us to stay in the conference as there was less trouble and we wouldn't need a new ground. Unfortunately this attitude is all to familiar with the clubs supporters and possibly the board as well. As for "one bad result" did you not see the away games at Leigh, Tamworth, Stevenage and the home games v Margate and Barnet?
