Not sure how they CAN do it? If its pay on the day then your lot would get into the Telford end. But then 1600 tickets would cause such problems also. If all ticket, whats to stop shrews fans - and more importantly - idiots getting telford end tickets? Ideas?

There is no question we will fill the away end and a number of Shrewsbury supporters will be in the home end as well.

Trust me, we'll have enough there to make use of the majority of space in the North, east and west stands. You won't get more than the away end and 500 seats.

well i live 2 mins from bucks head so ill go in telford end if its easier for me to get a ticket, and ill go mental if and when we score I don't fancy your chances of seeing the game out then. Whilst I accept it is inevitable that many Town fans will attempt to go in home sections, I would also expect the police to deal robustly with people in our section who go 'mental' IF Town score. Alternatively, you could see the light and support your LOCAL team. You know it makes sense :-)

Rsix i wouldn't advise that if i were you go in the home end maybe but i wouldn't make it obvious you are a Town fan.If its anything like the Millawall game all the local idiots will be in there. Besides RSIX your a Shrewsbury fan at the minute next week you may be back supporting us again like you used to? how can someone support one team then change to supporting the local rivals ?

from a reliable source at the club (CJ), the game will not be all ticket, and there were no plans for the league game to be made all ticket either.....
i didn't really believe it either, but his arguement was, how do you prove who's a Telford fan living in Shrewsbury and vice versa.
If its not all ticket, I would expect, almost certainly, the uncovered terrace to be given to us as someone else quite rightly pointed out it will be 'bedlam'.
(I am a regular poster on this board, the admin & moderators will know who I am and as I have backed up my claim with the name of my source, I'd like to stay anonomous please?)

If it's not all ticket, especially the league game, there will be absolute mayhem.
Take the problems we had at Chester and multiply them to see what effect it would have.
If it wasn't all ticket I'd try and be at the queue for the away end an hour before ko to ensure getting in.

Why not set up a temp fence half way on the open terrace and give us half of that too?

The questions you have to ask are this.
If it is made all ticket how do you stop Shrewsbury fans buying tickets for the home end?
The police I believe feel that they can deal with the game better if it is not all ticket. My only problem with this is that with Telford's capacity being 6000 odd, numbers will be really tight.
I would expect we'll get around 2000 of the capacity, when I would wager that we really need three.
Town fans will argue that we should have at least half the ground, but as Telford showed against Millwall, there fans will turn up for big games, and they will argue why should they give space to away fans when they have enough home fans to fill up.
The other argument for making it all ticket is that if Liverpool/ Everton can do it, Man City/ Man U can do it, then surely Shrewsbury and Telford should be able?
I've thrown a few things in the mixer there. My own views and concerns are that 3000 Shrewsbury fans could turn up like at Chseter and then then where do they put them.
If the ground held 8000 or above fair enough, but for a match like this 6000 isn't going to be enough.
I would seriously consider moving it to Molineux. No we wouldn't fill it, god no. But I think realistically your looking at a potential crowd of between 7 and 8000. And that aint going to fit into the Bucks Head.

It will never be moved Ade. If Andy Shaw won't switch the game for Millwall and all the receipts he sure isn't going to do it for a fellow conference club, nor should he. Vouchers were issued at the Millwall game for future cup matches and I would think they will come into play for this fixture. This would certainly assist the home end being Telford fans predominantly. There is a case for erecting a temporary fence to the right (as you look at it) of the away team dugout and to the left of the TUFC dugout, that'll be the best solution I think.

I think giving us half the east terrace will be the safest bet Mr G.
Look at Hereford. They have given us 2800 tickets and thats 38miles further.
It shows really that grounds of 6000 arent big enough for the type of games the Conference could potentially be hosting.
I just hope we are all worrying about nothing.
I think for Town fans to actually want it all ticket speaks volumes

There's no other way Ade, it would be Bedlam as a pay on the door event.

As much as I can appreciate the club and police being unable to distinguish Shrewsbury from Telford supporters I find it difficult to understand why the game isn't all ticket...if only to make sure that the capacity is met and that no one travels only to find the ground (or the area they wish to stand) full...don't make sense to me this...
If its a free for all then I can defo see more that 2,000 Town supporters making their way to the game and I'm sure the Telford public will be out in force too...how many does the ground hold again?

I think we need to be clear on this:
THERE HAS BEEN NO OFFICIAL WORD AS TO WHETHER THE GAME IS ALL TICKET OR NOT AT THIS STAGE.
If the game is not all ticket it will be a disaster
