Nonsense, without Tinson this season we'd not be where we are in the league table tonight I absolutely agree about Tinson, but he is not in the blinding form he was earlier in the season but the same can be said for Howie, although to a lesser degree

Agree, Tinson is probably thinking "What the... is this behind me??" Howie is not a keeper who would install confidence in me.

Significant mistakes by Tinson have been about as common as hen's teeth this season! No player is above criticism but i'm gobsmacked to read people having a go at him for his performance tonight

The keeper has the last word on everything comming long, through and passed the last defender, he has to be on his toes, and read the game. Howie, IMHO ,doesn't do this

WTF is going on? People having a go at Tinno?
We would be quite a few points worse off without Tinson this year, and we would probably be out of the FAT, as he was absolutely different class against Alty!
I have no major problems with Howie, I think any keeper at this level is going to make the odd blunder and I also believe that he's made a significant contribution, but slating Tinson is just plain madness IMO!
DTAS!

Lets see if we can sign Oliver Khan, he looked handy last night ;D Come on you sad people get behind the team. I here what you are saying. Prof, keepers make mistakes fact. But in the last minute scrammble when Burton thought they had scored Howie was in there with a handy save. Why not talk about Colin Crambs performance or Dave Edwards ball through for Lukes goal.

Nonsense, without Tinson this season we'd not be where we are in the league table tonight Totally agree with PPP on this one, Tinno has been a revelation this year - some performances have been truely outstanding. Ok he's had one or two dodgy games but that happens to every footballer. Howie is a fantastic keeper and as I think Sean said last week is by far the best keeper we've had at the club in the last 5-10 years (bar Eagle). I didn't see the incident last night, however there seems to be a little confusion between them that needs to be sorted out.

Tinno this season has been excellent, but don't confuse last nights outburst at Howie with whats gone before. I was yards for the incident and it was clearly Tinno at fault, what really hacked me off was his reaction afterwards, he was bang out of order. he should face his own responsibilties and admit that he too is capable of under par performances and of making mistakes. As a side issue; that mad scramble at the end was over the line and handball by Sedgemoor. We got out of jail.

I said it before but the Keeper and Tinnos (small) drop in form all came about from the Debarcle at Dagenham, the first major bad games that they had. Since then i can reacall mistakes in the last two home games - away at Alty (which we just got away with) and some average moments at Halifax.
I hope they rediscover ther form (by that i mean no silly mistakes).
That said Tinno is still my player of the season and Howie is the best we have - they just need to have a solid game - and infairness they kept a clean sheet last night!!!

I think seven goals conceded at home speaks volumes for both Tinno and Howie, we have also had more clean sheets this season than the last three combined (i would think).
Players make mistakes, sometimes you get punished other times you don't, you cant expect players to be 100% every game, everyone has dips in form at some point even the best in the world.
I would rather have dips in form that give us a clean sheet and 3pts than a dip in form that concedes goals and gives us no points.
Get behind the lads, they are passionate about winning, if they wernt bollocking each other when mistakes happen then i would be worried, im sure Tinno has apologised, a defence that has only conceded 7 goals at home seems like a very solid , reliable unit so they must have some kind of understanding between each other.

Definitely Howie's fault, no doubt about it whatsoever I agree with PPP on this. There are individual instances where people are blaming howie or tinson but the way i see it is the defence (and me for one) dont have confidence in Howie. He just does not command his area. Also the "Goal" last night all came from a Punch of some description. i have yet to see him claim a cross comfortably! I believe he is still a good keeper with good reactions and great shot stopping but just doesnt inspire me with confidence (i have said that all year this is not down to last few games) Anyway its all academic from last night as we got away with it....although i have a feeling its going to cost us in a big game soon!

I cant believe what I'm reading
Howie is solid, he is probably the best keeper down the meadow in years and there is nothing wrong with him.
Some people don't appreciate how much of an improvement he is on anything we had last year
