In my case, it has to do with limited access to the Meadow:D
Cleveland are in the running for a MLS franchise, and after living here for 20 years, they would definately be my number two.

Whits is going to end up with splinters in his árse from sitting on the fence next Tuesday then. How can you like Telford? lot of my mates supported telford when i grew up so had some good times watching them round the country. i was disappointed when they got relegated from the conference and told my mates that, then when slough's tree meant that telford could stay in the league i was happy for them. compare that to when we nearly went down they battered me saying they wished town had gone down, then at the end of the last season after the carlisle game at the finalk whistle they all rang up and laughed..... shows you how nice telford fans are really. there's no siting on the fench involved, town all the time. i'd just like to see telford do well, but in a conference just in the league type thing..

There is a good point here, lots of people involved in footie from ten years ago and beyond would watch Shrewsbury, of course, but take in Telford (Three divisions below) occasionally.
We used to alternate between Bridgnorth and Telford, it was all slightly obscure non league football and a good laugh
unfortunately now TUFC have become the fountain of all footballing evil and so any prevous connections to them must be denied!

Why doesn't B&A adopt a European club to support? That could be good fun!

Numero uno Shrewsbury Town Numero dos Real Mallorca Numero tres Pollensa town i have always gone on the premise that there is only one way to decide which club to support, as soon as you are old enough get out a map identify where you live and pick the nearest team, easy. after 40 (odd) years in shrewsbury i have applied the same theory here, come on fellow blues adopt the mighty Mallorca the "real" real!! Also following Pollensa is excellent they play on sand and remind me so much of watching the Town!!
