I'm getting a little jealous of these yougsters telling us how good they are every saturday morning. Is there anyone out there 35 and older who can still pull on the boot's and work some magic. If there was enough interest i think i could get us a game against a local team.

Disaster- Im midfield and attack as well. Am sure there are some more willing B&A vets out there- would actually be great to take the ASFC on (as long as there was oxygen standing by!)

Are any of the ASFC +35 anyway? Yes, Pete Downward is 39, Howard is 46 and has been playing regularly until a couple of weeks ago until he got injured. Chris Allen, Stu Dunn and Tim Williams are all in their early thirties and play every week.

Its the only position I really could play anymore, I had an op on my right knee 12 years ago and told to think twice about playing football again as it bugger up again

What you lot are serious? It seems so, football is a serious game even when played by people old enough to know better I'd love to play but, i'm as blind as a bat without my glasses
