I feel that they are shooting themselves in the foot because not many fans (on here at least,) like the blue and white idea, I feel that we will lose our identity if we do change..., people like the blue and amber shirts because they are different, so they would be more willing to buy them and wear them. Then there is the supporters bar thing, they are missing out on so much, if they just listend to the fans more. I know some people will buy the new blue and white shirts, I know some people will use the supporters bar, but the football club is cutting itself short and is missing out on alot of potential profit making.

Let's be clear about this. Don't forget we have an away shirt with blue sleeves - even though that wasn't the design that won the away strip competition - so however nice Matt's Ajax kit is, it isn't going to happen. So if the white away shirt didnt actually win the away strip competition, then what the bloody hell did? ?? My design will involve blue sleeves although I had thought of drawing up a design similar to the 'Link 51' shirt from 1983 to 1985 which had amber sleeves.....but I think that will involve too much amber for the likes of Mal Whitrick

i think the winning kit design was altered very slightly to suit the manufacturer

i think the winning kit design was altered very slightly to suit the manufacturer We have to do everything to suit MG Bloody Sportswear dont we If there was just a blue stripe on the shoulder of the white shirt instead of an entire blue sleeve, we would have been able to wear it a lot more than what we have, its just plain common sense, as I said before, the design of the current away strip has been the biggest cock up since the 'Argentina' design, another away kit which I can recall the team only wearing two or three times in two seasons if that.

the argentina kit was fantastic - suited jake being scottish - but being a team in blue, the light blue and white stripes was too much for referees to give the thumbs up to allow the meadow men to wear it when facing other teams in blue - eg halifax the conference play off final celebratory shirt is cool also - but its blue and white, so any team in blue and white which would also clash with our all blue strip - eg chester - means we get out the red one (again) something radical is needed like ummm.. like a red and white Ajax home kit or all purple for those new on B+A click on my site and see the history of town kits www.matthewashton.com/or if Mr Whitfields server isnt up to speed here is a direct link homepages.nildram.co.uk/%7Ematta/townkits.htmlperhaps we can consult Rob Lewis into kit choosing being as though he is a thorougly respected UEFA and Premiership Assistant Referee good night its 0443 and Ive had a long day x
